IF I could give 100 stars I would..........this dealership has THE BEST service department I've had the pleasure in dealing with for 30 years since my last new Chevy truck purchase. Austin Burch and Ross Laird are the two that I spoke with and they were pleasant/easy to talk to about my new Colorado's check engine light and transmission problems. The service department fixed my truck, changed out the trans fluid as per a TSB and got this vehicle back to me within 72 business hours when in fact my selling dealer's service department kept my truck previously for a full week then gave it back to me with the check engine light and transmission problems still active. Mike Hellack's service department even had a loaner vehicle waiting for me when I arrived. The service shop is a clean place unlike many others that you couldn't even see the floor and after briefly conversing with one mechanic about my new truck's problems he indicated it should be an easy fix as they are aware of certain situations concerning my new truck. I took the advice of a Davis OK resident to use Hellack's service department to get my truck fixed correctly and I wasn't disappointed one bit, as this was very much a worthwhile trip as my 2500 mile new truck now runs perfectly and is showing 29 mpg on the highway. I will be using Mr. Hellack's service department from here on out for my truck's needs. A BIG thank you to Mike Hellack for hiring these kinds of employees as it is now extremely comforting to know there are some Techs that DO know what they are doing and can fix things correctly on these new vehicles. After I previously left my truck at my selling dealer's service department for one full week they then wanted me to bring it back for further "diagnostics and testing" for another 2 weeks yet they didn't have a loaner vehicle for me so of course that is not acceptable nor convenient for the customer. I live in a neighboring state which is a 2 hour drive one way but at this point to have a service shop that is capable of fixing things right the very first time is well worth the drive "out of town". THANKS AGAIN Mr. Hellack for having the BEST service employees....THREE thumbs up...
Read moreHad a pretty good experience. They did my inner tie rods and were OK with me bringing in my own parts (my parts were GM OEM).
Only reason I took a star away, is they were aware, as was I, my front end was still making noises, and was the strut mounts... ...and they never offered me a repair for them. Or give me a quote for X more dollars in X more day(s)...?
Lady inside was a tiny bit rude IMO. But service guy was cool.
While I do understand that perhaps they were too busy...or parts unavailable. As I had seen alot of out of stock parts.
But I'm the type that if it would of been available and reasonable with time and cost, to just have them do it all. But all is good. Would take it there again if needed repairs I didn't feel comfortable with doing like front end stuff.
Wanted to update this, car handles alot better. But still wished the service salesman would of either told me too long a wait but (x) or something with my other repairs. They should atleast extend a offer. I would of very...
Read moreThis was on the Facebook page but I think it needs to be here too. 1 star is to much 0 would have been warranted. I took in a 2000 model car with less than 90 thousand miles. Kept car for almost 2weeks. Wanted coolant leak fixed that was done. The problem was asked for all hoses to be replaced easy ones done hard ones not. Old hose busted days later. Told them to fix motor mount they replaced a new one that I had replaced left the bad one. Asked them to check and replace cvaxles if needed not done I had to replace. Called and complained nothing came from that. Hi bill. For a car I had to fix myself. Won't be buying or using them ever again. The only reason I even used them my mother was in the hospital and at the time we didn't know if she would live or not. Horrible people feel taken...
