Alseerat is an experience. Upon walking through the door, you're met with the warmest welcome in more ways than one. The gentle aroma of oil/bakhoor drifts through the shop, changing lights show through carved panels, and the shelves are stocked with sentimental and meaningful Islamic gifts and decor. The atmosphere is truly beautiful and transports you overseas. Rayan is immensely kind, patient, knowledgeable, and personally helped me choose the items that most spoke to me -- even taking the time to translate Arabic calligraphy. The layout of the store is very well thought out. One of the things I deeply appreciate is that every item you'll find at Alseerat is one-of-a-kind. Their selection is unique to them, and the prices are very fair. It's evident that the owner really cares about bringing the cultural setting and special items to the community.
