Woke up Sat morning, sewage back up in floor drain in the basement. Family coming over, needed it unplugged, asap! The first number I got an answering service. Someone will get back to you before 8 am tomorrow(Sunday)! Really and that is urgent assistance. Called the next plumber, 1 -Tom-Plumber. Katie answered right away, was very personable and said we can have someone come out today. Great what time...as it was now 10:40. She said between 1 and 3. Jake showed up at 1:20. Told him we've lived here 6yrs and we have had this issue several times. Husband snaked it all those times and we had a plumber out once. Only Jake took the time to listen, explain what he was going to do and then said he would talk to me about the issue. He was so kind and knowledgeable. Always smiling. My family and I played cards in the kitchen. When done he explained, showing us what the camera saw. Issue would keep happening as there was no pitch in the pipe from the bathroom to where the pipe drained into the main pipe to flow out. He suggested a few things we could do. He answered all our(my aunt, my two uncles and my uncle's girlfriend) questions. He sat at the table and took the time! When he left, we all were saying "he is so knowledgeable", feels like we've known him for a long time", "will recommend him to anyone who has plumbing issues". I can't thank him enough. We finally know the issue and some steps to correct the problem. We will definitely call 1-Tom-Plumber in the future and will ask for our friend, Jake. Madison is blessed you moved here. I recently had a leaking toilet issue due to a bad wax ring and reached out to a few plumbing companies for pricing and availability. I decided to go with 1Tom Plumber of Madison, and I’m so glad I did! They were able to send someone to my home within the hour, which was impressive given the urgency of the situation. Their pricing was also very reasonable, especially for what felt like an emergency to me. Kaiti, the manager, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable as she talked me through the initial process. Soon after our call, I received a text introducing Jacob, the plumber who would be handling my issue, complete with a photo. This thoughtful touch really reassured me—it’s nice to know who to expect, especially in today’s world! Jacob arrived promptly and was one of the best plumbers I've encountered. He was polite, efficient, and got right to work. Within minutes, he had my toilet removed, the new wax ring installed, and the toilet replaced. What impressed me even more was that he took the time to examine my toilet for any potential damages that I might not have noticed. His thoroughness was greatly appreciated. Overall, I couldn’t recommend 1Tom Plumber of Madison enough! I will definitely be using their services in the future and recommending them to all my friends. This was the best plumbing service I've received in my nearly 30 years of living in the area. I've had a leaking Jacuzzi tub faucet for over 15 years. Why so long? Because I've had other more 'popular' places in the area try to fix it only to get so far and essentially give up. Or, give me a bunch of leg work to do to get the job completely finished. I've also had a leaky shower faucet. Same 'popular' plumber in the area never really fixed it.

I called 1-Tom-Plumber who promptly scheduled and sent Jody to my place in Sun Prairie. I requested my toilet tank flusher to be replaced, fix the leaky shower, and let me know what can be done with the leaky Jacuzzi faucet. First visit Jody fixed the toilet and the leaky shower faucet. Next visit he started working on the Jacuzzi leak but ran into issues. He evaluated the issue, came up with a solution and came back a second time and fixed it! 15 years and a handful of other attempts and nobody seemed to want to fix it until Jody came along.

Call this place first if you have plumbing needs and need the job done right and completely the first time! I could not be more satisfied with the work done!

02/2025 - Called them again due to clogged kitchen sink. Jacob came out and fixed everything very professionally. Still highly recommend...
