DeKalb Fresh Market — Local services in DeKalb Township

Love the the grocery but the restaurant is kinda off. The guacamole we paid $8 for was mostly tomatoes. It was watery. The tomatoes bulk it up I get it but I'm talking lots of tomatoes. Is was more of a tomatoe dip. The tamales taste good but the husks have these weird black spots that looks like mold on them. The past 2 times we've ordered these it was like this. We've been shopping at their original store for over 10 years. Freshest produce in town. I was very excited for the new location to open and it does not disappoint. I was actually in there yesterday and I love seeing it lively and booming with friendly faces of all walks of life. Their food is delicious. They have the freshest tamales I've ever had. I love the community feel and how welcoming they are....

The tacos are big and delicious. Good groceries at great prices with excellent customer service. Excellent meat at the butcher section.
