I rarely take time to leave anything other than positive reviews, but I had the worst salon service ever, so I felt the need to warn others away from Elizabeth. I brought my eight year old daughter to get a trim by Elizabeth as our usual stylist at Vanessenâs was unavailable and we were having family pictures taken. When we arrived Elizabeth took my daughterâs hair out of a pony tail and began cutting it without so much as parting it or even misting it with a spray bottle. I should have stopped her right there, but I thought she was maybe dry cutting the hair before the actual cut. Elizabeth then moved on to trimming her bangs. I clearly stated that I wanted my daughterâs bangs trimmed straight across and to not go any shorter than dusting her eyebrows. I watched as Elizabeth began to cut her bangs, again without any water. I walked over to check the length they were at and saw she had cut them into an arch shape with the middle almost an inch above her eyebrows while the sides were long and uneven. I intervened, said they were way too short and were not cut straight across as I had specified. She insisted she had followed the previous cut, which was patently untrue, and showed her that not only were they way too short but they were also uneven. Elizabeth stated they were not uneven to her and she cut them exactly how they had been cut previously, but offered to get another stylist. The other stylist agreed they were uneven and not cut how I had requested, but said he would do his best. I heard him tell Elizabeth she always should wet the hair before cutting. Thankfully, he did an amazing job and managed to make my daughterâs bangs as cute as possible, although still too short. He said to give them a few weeks and they'll look better. As soon as he was done fixing my daughterâs bangs I had her get out of Elizabethâs chair. I was honestly surprised Elizabeth had the nerve to ask for payment as she didnât complete the cut and ruined my daughterâs bangs, but I didnât say anything because I wanted to get out of the salon before my daughter broke down crying. While I would recommend the amazing male stylist who helped fix the botched bang cut, I would give Elizabeth zero stars if possible. Oh, not to mention, she didn't say ONE WORD to my daughter during the cut. I felt like my daughter was getting her cut from a student newly arrived at beauty school. Disappointing to say the least. Iâm adding a photo to show how they look AFTER they were fixed. Imagine how they...
Read moreIâm just now getting around to writing this review. I paid this salon over $1860 to do my bridal partyâs hair and makeup for our wedding. The salon had our wedding party scattered throughout the morning on their schedule. So some girls were coming in at 8am, then coming back at 11am.
I am a licensed cosmetologist, I know how to book appointments. I know not to move them to other stylists due to pricing, etc. I have written documentation of the owner telling me if people need to swap spots, it was okay. So I did. It makes zero sense for my bridesmaids to come at 8am and come back 2 or 3 hours later. NONE of the appointments were switched to other stylists.
A few of my bridesmaids got there first. Upon arriving, they were greeted with the most unprofessional behavior from the owner. One of my bridesmaids was getting her hair done by the owner, Kahli. And as she was doing my bridesmaids hair, Kahli was bashing me to my friend. And continued to say things like, âThis will be the last bridal party we will ever do. We can make way more money doing cuts and colors.â Seriously? I paid you nearly $1900 plus tips. And youâre going to treat my bridal party this way?
I called the salon to try and clarify, Kahli answered. Then proceeded to hand the phone to her client (my bridesmaid) before I could even get a sentence out and say, âYou talk to her, I donât have time for this. I need to do your hair.â Iâve seen so many comments from the owner of this establishment (Kahli) stating âcommunication is key.â
Keep in mind, you could have had all 10 of us as future clients. Word of mouth goes a long ways. And the hair industry is very small. But after that experience, I canât justify spending more money here. My bridal party was appalled at the way the staff, especially the owner, was acting.
On top of all this, I was over charged for a service & was told theyâd refund me the day of my wedding. I never saw any money, so on top of really terrible customer service, they pocketed extra money.
You would think running a business with your own name attached to it, youâd take more pride in your representation. Also, Iâm expecting a comment similar to all the others stating this wasnât true, accusing the customer of lying, nobodyâs in our system with this name, etc. Lemme tell you, this...

I recently received a haircut from the owner at Bryant Salon, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I had been growing my hair out for over a year in preparation for my brotherâs wedding. I wanted some face-framing layers while keeping my length. I went over my wishes with her several times, emphasizing how important this was to me, only to walk out of the salon with my hair 5 inches shorter than when I came in. The cut was completely uneven, a true hack job that felt personal.
Throughout the appointment, she kept making comments about how my hair was so heavy and hurting her hand. Despite expressing that I donât wear my hair curly, she insisted on using curly hair products and scrunching my hair instead of taking the time to blow it out. I left the salon with soaking wet hair, so much so that I had to wring it out in the parking lot.
I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. The stylist who corrected the cut even mentioned that she couldn't figure out what the original intent wasâsaying it almost looked like it was done on purpose.
If you love your hair, do not go to Bryant Salon!
*Update to owners response.
Your lack of integrity is shocking, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I think we can all acknowledge that the pictures speak for themselves; thereâs no denying the poor job you did. You donât understand how to do business, and youâve never once reached out to apologize, offer a refund, or even discuss what happened. Instead, youâve posted a misleading response filled with false claims. Itâs dishonest and unprofessional. If you truly reviewed your footage, youâd see that I left with soaking wet hair. You did not blow out my hair, so your statement is simply untrue.
As for your competitor, 605, they did a fantastic job correcting your hack job. The stylist who fixed it was on her third day working there, so I highly doubt you know who she is. She was incredibly kind and didnât say a single bad thing about your business, simply because she didnât know who you were!
Having integrity and owning your mistakes,...
