I'm a dealer and collector over 25 years and I-29 Antiques has always been one of my places to buy. I'm from ND and will no longer give business to I -29. I was in the store today buying and one booth had a sign stating clearly 30% off the entire booth. The sign was in plain sight for anyone too see. I spent over an hour going through and picking out numerous items. I told the lady at the counter this was a 30% off booth. She later approached me and asked where I saw the sign. Then, I go to pay after spending all of the time in the store, the manager/owner told me the vendor would not honor this 30% off and forgot to take the sign down. THIS IS WRONG AS A BUSINESS! They could've at least called the dealer and asked or honored the sign. NOTHING BUT A IRRELEVANT APOLOGY! They recognize me whenever I come in. Now, I don't blame the nice lady at checkout. She apologized and I told her it was nit her fault. As a dealer, you make sure your signs are down when a sale ends. It's the responsibility of the dealer. Also, I feel it's bad business practices. As a result, I will not longer do any business with I-29 and will spend money, for my shop, down the street and at 605. To bad because I spent hundreds up to thousands on trips. I- 29's loss. But.... if you are looking to sell or pawn any items, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!! The only employee that is able to purchase anything is Randy and he usually has Tuesdays off but the next week then it'll be Thursday then the next 3 weeks he's on vacation and none of the other employees can really ever help you unless they kind of feel like it.
