My wedding date had all of their top DJs and DJ Jeremy himself already booked. Which lead me to sign up with a lower tier DJ after seeing and experiencing their company’s amazing showcase hosted at the country club earlier in the year. My communication with the company leading up to my wedding was quick and extremely professional. I had the same high expectations with a lower tier DJ, but we were told we only get to meet with our DJ only once to consult (about week or so before the wedding). I felt there was not enough communication prior to wedding with our DJ— which led to a forgotten mother son dance on the timeline. It did not help that our DJ was not allowed to know what items we had in our contact, so he didn’t know what to set up on prior to our wedding. In our contract, we had a cake spot lighting, digital up lighting, photobooth. About a month or so prior to wedding we requested additional items: a backdrop/draping for head table, and sound for ceremony. Cake light spotting- I just realize as I’m writing this, I don’t remember seeing “cake spot lighting” on our cake, nor seeing any “lighting” on my cake from friends’ wedding pictures :( Backdrop/draping - this was missing, has been addressed and was refunded Photobooth - it had error issues where the system will freeze and shutdown, my guest did not get to fully experience their pictures getting taken - DJ Jeremy arrived around 10pm to fix the photo booth, we received a partial refund, digital and physical copies (I haven’t set up Dropbox account to my computer to download digital copies yet). Ceremony sound - there was some sound feedback at the beginning of ceremony, but I think this was corrected instantly at the time of the feedback noise. I mention my officiant needed a handheld mic, but I failed to communicate that my pianist also needed a mic to sing. My officiant used a headset mic, and remove the headset for guests to hear me and groom during vows, went well.
DJ Jeremy himself apologized for the photobooth and missing backdrop. He followed up with me in person and hand delivered the photobooth’s printed hardcopies. I appreciate his efforts and passion to making each wedding experience the...
Read moreOne of the first “to do's'' in our wedding planning process was to meet with DJ Jer at our reception venue. Right off the bat he was friendly, energetic, punctual, and collaborative. He walked the space with us while we bounced ideas around; by the end of the walk through we were excited to have Jer on our team. We trusted his expertise, and found comfort in his assurance and excitement; and understanding of our expectations. Along the way Jer’s communication was seamless. He sent over hand sketched drafts of our dream dance floor (aka: magical disco garden), kept in touch with us via emails, phone, and in person meetings, and worked well with our wedding planner and florist to make sure no detail was left untouched. Their collaborative efforts were deemed impeccably marvelous on our Wedding night. Not only was he able transform the ambiance of the space into its own captivating glowy mood he emceed the evening and brought the vibe to match the mood. It’s no easy feat to corral and inform all of your guests throughout the night, but Jer took responsibility for that; doing his part to keep us on schedule and was able to adjust when we were falling behind our timeline. Jer is a professional and a master at his craft. We had a wonderful time working with him and miss the creative process, maybe it’s time to throw...
Read moreAndy Jorgensen was our DJ and he was one of the best DJ's for a wedding that I have experienced. It has been over a month since we had our reception and I am still getting compliments on how great the DJ and dance were. He played a big part in how much fun my husband, myself, and all of our guests had throughout the night. He had everyone on the dance floor for the entire night. The one thing I appreciated most about Andy is that he would come find me throughout the night to ask if it was a good time to do things such as the dollar dance, bouquet toss, garter auction, etc. We ended up deciding not to do the bouquet toss and garter auction because everyone was having too much fun on the dance floor with the music he was playing.
Andy also did an amazing job at playing the style of music we asked for and the specific songs we asked to play. He was so friendly and accommodating when guests would requests songs and play them relatively soon instead of waiting a long time which was so nice. I highly recommend Andy for anyone’s wedding. The whole process was so easy from the moment we had our first meeting with Jeremy to the night of...
