Dingmans Shooting Range — Local services in Delaware Township

Fantastic time for the whole family - amazing staff at this place Review of Dingmans Shooting Range Pending review We were over in New York from London as part of our family holiday - visiting a gun range was always something we wanted to do but were apprehensive of going. Staying at Woodbury, there were plenty of ranges to visit, but we decided to go to Dingmans range purely on the strength of reviews we came across on google maps. It was about 40 mins from our location, but I'm so glad we visited this place. We were nervous when we got there, but were greeted by one of the managers (Zach) who really made us feel welcome straight off the bat. We completed the mandatory forms and presented our passports as ID - Zach talked us through the saftey guidance process and explained the packages available. We then went though to the shooting range with Glen. I must point out that all the staff here are experienced gunny's and saftey officers, and this is a massive factor in picking this range. Saftey is a priority (as it should be). We were dealing with Glen and Zach, but going on this experience, you get the feel that all the staff who work here are equally experienced and professional.

I cant praise Glen enough for his training, he was a total professional, really calm and clear, he took the time to go though all aspects thoroughly. Glen really went a long way in adding to the fantastic experience we had here. The whole family really benefited from his instruction.

Through Glen's instruction, our 15 year old daughter excelled, coming from the UK we all had zero experience of firearms. If anyone is considering going to a gun range, the staff here alone make the difference. The facilities are second to none, this really is a great place to shoot at an indoor range. The place is clean, air quality is fantastic - the reviews we have read (all being 5 star) still do not do this place justice. I really can't praise the staff enough.

We would have loved to visit again but were pressed for time on this trip - it's definitely a place we will return to and spend more...

Only negative thing I can say about this range, is that it's an hour and twenty minutes from my house. (Perhaps I need to relocate..lol) However, it's definitely worth the drive. First and foremost, the staff including the RSO's, are just amazing. They are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, all while maintaining safety a top priority. Large targets available at ridiculous low price. You can shoot your own firearms, handguns/shotguns/and rifles, or you can rent theirs, also at an amazing price. They have a nice variety of firearms available in all the categories previously mentioned. Took my wife recently and she had a wonderful time.(she's an amazing shot for a novice and me not being the best teacher, thanks to RSO/instructor Lorraine, she was immediately on target and shooting tight groups with various firearms and calibers.) Can't wait...

I have been here a couple of times now, always a good experience. I brought my then 14 yr old son for his 1st range experience over 1 year ago. We returned today to have my 17 yr old daughter for her 1st range experience. I live about 20 mins from a local range, but make the trip to Dingman’s Shooting Range because it is a very personal, yet professional environment. There were 4 range officers there today, and I decided to get a 30 min personal instruction for my daughter. Every person we dealt with was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. They all made my kids feel very comfortable and safe. EVERYONE is very safety oriented also, which is a good thing. For me and my family, I don’t hesitate to make the 45 min drive instead of 20 mins to stay locally. I would recommend this...
