had a package arrive at the dingmans ferry post office on the morning of february 19, mail came no package. i get things happen so no big deal. then i check around 2pm on the 20th (the next day), expecting to see the package delivered, only to see it was sent to the NEWTON NJ POST OFFICE! now i'm not expecting to get the package until the 24th. how incompetent can you be. stuff like this always happens. i've lived here my whole life (30yrs) and it's always stuff like this, or getting notices that certain packages couldn't be delivered, when we go out of our way to keep our mailbox clear and with plenty of space when we're expecting packages. so...
Read moreThe quality of customer service has improved at this post office noticeably in the past year. The gals behind the desk always seem to have a smile and good attitude and a helpful demeanor. Compared to a year ago or more, the staff are a pleasure to deal with now. Maybe the poor customer service historically was due to bad management in the past. Keep up the good trend and good work!

Read moreAs of this date I'm now required to change my mailing address for parcels to the physical address of this specific post office to get my mail or it gets sent back. Is this still planet earth? What bottom feeder employed by the USPS received a special act award for this ludicrous idea? Shame on this agency. What is really hysterical about this is I pay a lot of money to be inconvenienced to have a P.O. Box. Typical government employees at this post office as well.
