I contacted Coastal Bath for a quote. Their sales representative, Shane, had a scheduled appointment for 6:00pm. He arrived on time and already knew I had received previous quotes from other companies as I stated in my quote request form. Shane let us know he was relatively new to the business as of 2 months. Most of these bath companies have the same spiel and have a very similar process. He told us he wouldn't bore us with the same information and that was a relief since we had dinner and bath time to do with our 6 year old. At 6:24 we sat down to discuss pricing. He had a question regarding his his own pricing system but said "he couldn't call the owner because he'd be upset as to why we are already discussing pricing after 24 minutes". Shane then sat at our kitchen table for about 30 minutes stalling and making small talk. He indicated that he didn't want to get in trouble from the owner for moving through the process too quickly. My partner and I began to get frustrated as this seemed extremely unprofessional. At approximately 6:50pm he then called his owner and discussed the issue. He came back in around 7pm and said he "cannot submit our pricing as it's too early and the system indicates what time the quote is made but he'll write it on paper". The quote was extremely high and we let him know we had gotten a far more reasonable quote from Peninsula Bath. He then went outside and spoke to the owner on the phone for another 20 minutes. It was now 7:20pm. My fiance let Shane know that it's imperative we move this along. Shane came back inside and let us know they would be able to match Peninsula's price which was 2500$ less than Coastal's quote. I had a bad taste in my mouth after the whole experience. Coastal's management cannot force their "design consultants" to stay 60-90 minutes when there's nothing further to discuss. If we had questions or concerns, sure. However, we were extremely familiar with the process as we had multiple quotes by this time. Peninsula's salesman came out and was quick and precise and not only had the best price, but the best salesman! There is nothing more valuable to me than time, and that was wasted with...

I bought a ten year old house with one really nasty bath tub. I put up with it for almost two years, but finally decided it had to go.

I talked to a couple of companies, but never quite got the sense of confidence. I'm a little bit particular. Fred came out to my house, and instantly I trusted him. He has a deep background in material sciences so we went into great detail about adhesives, materials and what makes a project succeed of fail.

It was easy to find the look I wanted, and to stay within my budget. What really impressed me was the awesome communications. Stephanie and her team regularly contacted me to let me know where the parts and materials were in the pipeline, so I never had to wonder.

Then, Stephanie called me yesterday and offered to do my installation today - weeks ahead of schedule! Of course I said yes and the team were here, on time as promised and ready to get to work.

These guys were awesome. Great energy, they really enjoy working together and have a lot of fun making something awesome that makes your jaw drop. And, what the did is beautiful. I really like the easy-care aspect of keeping this clean, as I'm getting older. I really appreciate that I have two grab handles and three shelves - all placed at the right height for me.

When they left, there was nothing for me to do except shake their hands and thank them. They left no mess for me to clean up, so they've just left me with a brand new walk in shower and happy memories of a really great choice!

Coastal Bath installed an absolutely beautiful new shower along side new flooring and a toilet In my master bathroom. Coastal’s work has completely transformed the space into something I actually look forward to using every day. The quality of construction is very high. The installers, extremely professional and respectful of your home and items. All the materials used seem very high-quality and elevate the space immensely. I took a chance on their fixtures from MOEN and admittedly, they are very nice I highly recommend spending the extra money! Admittedly there were some issues found after the install, but Coastal Bath stood by their work and fixed everything Without any trouble. To be clear, by no trouble I mean I didn't have to fight them to get anything fixed or changed. I never once felt like I was going to be left in the lurch, I always knew coastal was on it, and everything would be perfect. In the end everything indeed was absolutely perfect. I worked with stephanie in the home office, who was amazing at keeping me updated on everything (a shelf I bought is back ordered) and relaying any issues I was having to the guys before they came to me. The production manager, Stephen Is amazing at what he does he made sure everything was perfect and even fixed many things personally when something turned out different than it should’ve.
