I found an Alice & Olivia dress online so I went in to the Delay store to purchase as it was the last one in my size. (I had previously shopped online and that dress was amazing so I assumed I'd be in good hands). After the purchase it stayed in the bag for one night until I needed it for my best friends birthday dinner. I put it on, got in my car and drove to Bright line. Within 2 minutes of walking into the Bright line station one of the straps just popped off. Luckily, I had taken a photo just before it popped and my husband took one about 10 minutes after it popped when we tried to quick fix it (I'm bigger in the chest and this dress had no support). Someone at the restaurant gave me a pin and for the rest of the night was paranoid the other was going to do the same. I brought the dress back the following day and Debbie was so outstandingly condescending and insulting. I explained what happened with photos and she responded with "this isn't a forensic investigation" however, still accused me of breaking the strap after a night of dancing. I NEVER went dancing, NEVER mentioned that in my story, so while it wasn't a forensic investigation perhaps if she paid the least bit of attention instead of dismissing me she would've had a more appropriate response. Then Debbie upped her game by asking if I tried the dress on before purchasing because perhaps it wasn't the right size. So now you've belittled my approach to show you honesty and insulted my body size? Long story short she said in her 11 years there she knows the owner won't refund me for the broken dress because Jessie boutique is not a department store. They offered to fix the dress and they did but it's a waste because I won't be wearing it again. Ladies, stick to "Department Stores" because if this is the service and respect you get from a boutique who needs it. I'd much rather return or replace a $400 dress at a bigger store and not be talked down to the way I was. Utterly disgusted and won't be going back there. Shame on this business for treating customers that way especially when dealing with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I experienced what it feels to be invisible. As I listened to two staff chatter away with their friend in the store, I tried to look for a particular item without any assistance. One of them was excitingly exclaiming about being brand new in the store. I hope her manager gives her some training, but the other staff on duty wasnāt much better. About 20 minutes later, one of them noticed me and asked if I needed help. When I finally got them to help me, I picked out a few items and they were placed in the dressing room. They said if you need any help, let us know they never told me their names. I was trying to get some help with a dress. I was calling calling calling and they were just looking at me. It was the weirdest experience and I went out of there feeling so dejected but thatās OK. I went to Infinity and I got two gorgeous tops that I needed for my birthday party. The staff was kind and wonderful and more than willing to helpme. Never again will I go in Jessie and I will let people know about my experience there This is a loss. For me and for them as a few years back I bought one of my favorite dresses there. It was obvious that they had a preconceived opinion of me as I was dressed casually. Horrible horrible horrible. They were having public discussions about the schools in the area while I was ignored. I must add that they said they didnāt get to help because they were so busy. There was a total of three customers in the store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am from Georgia. My friend brought me to the boutique which is very nice. I bought a dress and a top for $ 400 total. Only 45 minutes later I had second thoughts about the dress. We ran back and they would not accept a return. Offered me a credit slip. I understand it is their policy but 45 minutes! Ridiculous. So I have a $250 dress which I donāt like and will NEVER shop there again. I think in this situation good business would have been to be gracious. I only come once yearly. Thumbs down to Jessieās.
