Wish & Shoes — Local services in Delray Beach

I was familiar with Wish and Shoes because my sister-in-law shops at Wish when she is on the East coast of Florida. I live on the West Coast of Florida ( Clearwater), where there is a dearth of fashion forward women’s clothing stores. I called the Wish store in Jupiter and spoke to the most wonderful employee, Cynthia Keefover. I told Cynthia of some of my clothing needs. Cynthia, is the store’s stylist, she immediately offered to put a box of clothing together for me and would ship the box to me so that I see if there was anything that appealed to me. She also mentioned that she does this for many clients of the store. I was delighted with what she sent to me and kept several items.I felt that I really needed to also visit the store. My husband drove me over. I spent a wonderful afternoon with Cynthia helping me coordinate outfits.Cynthia is a gem. I left the store very happy. WISH the owner would have some decency & compassion! Very disappointed in the poor customer service & lack of compassion. I stopped into the store this weekend to exchange a $412 shirt/jacket that my mother purchased days before she passed away. The item still has tags on it and is hanging in the plastic bag. The store is still selling this item. I requested to exchange for a different size so that another family member might wear it or to even have a credit for something else. I was told by an employee she need to check with the owner and would call me later that day. I never heard from her so I went back to the store and the employee told me she had left me a message. My wife bought a pair of shoes at this shop two weeks ago. She was taken to store by a friend and purchased a pair of shoes for approx. $170 and some jewelry. She came home and found that the shoes did not go well with her dress, she never wore the shoes and went back to return them today and was advised that the store did not refund any money and only would give a store credit.
