Undio’s Supermarket - Deltona, FL: A Hidden Gem with Incredible Value and Flavor
I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit to Undio’s Supermarket. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an inviting display of freshly cooked food, beautifully presented and incredibly tempting. As someone committed to a fitness journey, I’m always on the lookout for high-protein, low-carb options, and I was thrilled to find exactly what I needed here. I ordered a salad with chicken breasts, which was not only delicious but also perfect for a quick, healthy meal on the go.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a diverse buffet with flexible pricing based on container size. For instance, with just an $8 box, you can get a generous portion of rice and pair it with one or two meats, or opt for a fresh salad. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and for the quality and quantity of food you receive, it’s an absolute steal.
The supermarket itself is charming, serving as both a grocery store and a hot food buffet. Near the checkout, there’s a tempting selection of desserts—cakes, flan, and other treats. My husband tried the cheese flan, and he couldn’t stop raving about how AMAZING it was! The bone-in chicken was juicy and tender, practically falling apart with each bite. It’s an absolute must-try!
Between the top-notch quality of the food and the unbeatable prices, this could easily become one of our go-to spots for a quick, flavorful bite in Deltona. I particularly loved how they soak the rice in the juices from the meats, giving it an extra burst of flavor and moisture. The service is equally impressive—everyone at the buffet is fast, friendly, and attentive. The gentleman behind the counter clearly takes pride in preparing the food, and that care makes me want to return even more.
All in all, Undio’s is a hidden gem with a vibrant Latin vibe that’s definitely worth...
Read moreThis is a great place to get your Hispanic, Latinos food ingredientes, fresh cut meats, bakery, and, for me, best of all is a non self service of cooked food. It is easily known as a food bar.
Most of all, your rice, beans, pork and chicken stews, empanadas, morcilla, guineos, ensalada de pulpo, camarones, amarillos, sopas, rellenos de papa, and so much more. In general, around $6 for a meal (Example: Rice, beans, and a meat protein for the price). If beef, around $7.
There're other Hispanic places, and they add a soda for around $13 a meal.
So! Try this place out and enjoy the food. English and Spanish spoken. All the employees are awesome and could help you out.
I started working in a Harlem Bodega at the age of five. By age thirteen I worked in a restaurant and learned everything about it. If I reviewed you, you're ok. If it were really bad, I'd contact the manager. Enjoy the review and...
Read moreTheir food is delicious But if you don’t speak Spanish don’t expect customer service. I tried to call on Thursday, July 27, 2022 to place a catering order for my Family reunion dinner that following Saturday. The employee hung up on my three times before putting an English speaking person on the phone. I was told that I had to come into the store to place the order, which I did, AND fully paid for the order which was almost $200. Well, they didn’t even fulfill my order, when I went to pick it up they tried to take it from the food they sell to the public! No! That’s not how catering works! On top of that, they showed no cyst service or gave me a sincere apology for ruining my family reunion! I will never spend another dime there or refer anyone else there again! They only show good service to Spanish speaking customers! Not...
