First, I’d like to say that the owner Steve is wonderful to work with. Very willing to get you what you want and working with you to ensure that you are a happy customer. We have recommended Attic Treasures to many people who have spent thousands of dollars there. At our last trip there, we also dropped thousands of dollars to purchase some furniture for our house. Steve even worked with us to build some end tables for our living room. I wish I could say this had a happy ending. We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owners son, who has HORRIBLE customer service. Every time we call the store he is nasty on the phone and by no means makes you feel like a valuable customer. Our end tables came in and and my husband drove an hour and a half to pick them up. They were made wrong, did not match the drawing at all. The son said that they never should have taken this order, if he were there at the store when we came he never would have taken this order. The doors on the end tables (which should be less than 20 inches because that’s how wide the end table is) were made into double doors. The son said that they have to do that because the wood warps. I find that funny because on the TV stand we bought the doors are wider than 20 inches. Also I was under the impression that what Attic Treasures is known for is making things to fit your space. It literally says on their page “Can’t find something to fit an unusual space? Draw it up and we’ll make it for you!” So being told that making our end tables isn’t something they do was a little hypocritical. Needless to say we extremely disappointed in the customer service we received and will tell our friends about the experience we had and at this point we aren’t sure we will ever purchase something from this store again. Like I said at the beginning Steve was great to work with, however his son is going to drive that store into the ground with his terrible customer service. Then when we call to complain, the owner did nothing to rectify the situation and said he gets complaints about his son’s customer service and won’t do anything about it. We bought a place on Houghton Lake last summer and we have furnished it with lovely furniture from here. We have even had a couple pieces custom built and they exceeded expectations. The furniture is priced well and the father and two sons who manage the store definitely make stopping at Attic Treasures a must during your next trip. They are patient, kind and go above and beyond to help you find exactly what you are...

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The owners are amazing people and didn't high pressure us into buying anything. My husband and I have our eyes in several pieces and we can't wait to bring them home.
