My husband & I were up for his 2 day fishing tournament, We walked in and seated ourselves, we were greeted and told to sit anywhere you like. We were given menus & silverware by another waitress and told our waitress would be over. When she came over she was polite and got our drink & appetizer order. My husband had been on the lake all day and was very thirsty, when she dropped off our drinks she didn't come back for about 20 mins and we sat there with empty drinks, and when she came back it was with our appetizer and that's is when she took our dinner order. 🫤 We then waited almost another 30 mins or more with empty drinks again, for our food which was just 2 burgers and fries/tots. First off, the appetizer was the cheese curds which were very good but such a TINY portion, barely enuf for me and my husband. The waitress did go out of her way to make a special southwest ranch for us. My husband's burger was asked to be cooked med-well and was burnt and hard as a hockey puck and very tiny, we were told it was 1/3 lb, it looked more like a kids burger. The loaded tots & seasoned frieds were pretty good, but over all the food was not that great, we expected it to be better considering the prices. It was $60 for 2 burgers & fries, a tiny cheese ball appetizer, and 1 soda. The waitress came outside when we went to take a few pictures and offered to take some pics of us, which was nice of her, The views are absolutely BEAUTIFUL at the location, and It's a shame the food & service doesn't match the view. We would not come back here again if we revisited. Hopefully the food & service improves and we would love to...
Read moreThis is the first review I have ever had to rate 1 star, and in all honesty the only reason it deserves the 1 star is its location. I'm not even sure where to start, myself and my riding partners stopped In at limberlost to get burgers after riding dirtbikes all day without eating. The ONLY reason we stayed and ate these tree bark burgers was because we were so hungry we would have eaten shoe leather, in fact we are all fairly certain it was shoe leather. We ordered half pound burgers, all but one burger was only 1/3 pounds, ordered medium rare, all burgers were well well done, mine was burnt charred on the outside and was crunchy. There was no sauce on the barbecue burgers, no mayonase on the limberlost burger no onions no pickles on any burgers though we did order them. The coleslaw was horrendous and not worth ordering. We played 2.50 for seasoned fries and our plates had about 20 fries on each. I ordered Budweiser got bud light. I'm sure there are more things that went wrong but you get the point. I'm not sure if it was simply because it was a Sunday evening when we went and their good cooks were off that day or what. I can say truthfully none of us will ever go back, and if we do we will be sure to eat first and go there only for drinks. Gorgeous building great location, terrible leadership and food. Macdonalds Patty's are juicier and better prepared than limberlost and that is...
Read moreI'm writing to voice my concerns with the continuation of bud bash this year. Being responsible for the health and safety of individuals post participation of such a gatherings require a great deal of responsibility and should not be taken lightly. Exclude the selfishness and react to what science indicates as a plausible nightmare. I have great respect for businesses and gatherings, such as festival's that have been conscious with regard to the affects, and possible grave outcomes of such popular gatherings. I request you reevaluate the current situation. Cancellation is not profitable. Being leaders, and setting standards is an honor. Our communities will profit from this type business leadership. Strive to be a business that fosters pride for the people you hold dear, for the health of your community, and respect towards your loved ones and friends. May the "heart of your business" earn you respect that will resonate with future generations. Please reconsider the likely ramifications of this kind of gathering at this time. Peace and good health to everyone. Kindest...
