I visited Be Beauty Nails & Spa on Monday, May 19, 2025, for a scheduled appointment at 4:10 PM with Hailey, which I had booked days in advance through their website for a gel polish pedicure and manicure combo, along with a full set of acrylic pink and white powder nails. However, I only received a pedicure and was not charged for the manicure, despite it being part of my original booking. Upon arrival, I was seated in the eighth chair on the left side, and when I attempted to adjust the chair, it did not function. I assumed it might require a switch, so I waited for my technician. When Hailey arrived, she also tried to troubleshoot the chair, but I felt uncomfortable voicing my desire to switch to another one, and she did not suggest moving me. Eager to enjoy the experience, especially since it was my day off and I rarely indulge in nail services, I chose to overlook the chair issue. I ordered an Earl Grey hot tea and appreciated Hailey's friendly demeanor during the quick pedicure. However, when I transitioned to the nail table, I noticed that my nails and cuticles were not trimmed, and Hailey proceeded directly to preparing my nails for the acrylic tips without having me wash my hands afterward. Although I felt rushed, we engaged in pleasant conversation, and she completed my French tip acrylic set swiftly. At checkout, I informed the front desk about the malfunctioning chair to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue so I told the young woman at the front desk that checked me in "I was seated in the 8th chair towards the end of the row and it seemed to not work." She began to tell me "I would never seat anyone in that chair as everyone knows that, that chair does not work, so I know I did not seat you there." I was in disbelief that she was calling me a liar ! she began to blame the young gentleman sitting in the chair behind the computer that I'm assuming she was training and she asking him "if he sat me there" and I nicely told her "No.. you did seat me there." She apologized and didn't offer any discount and began to blame the technician for not saying anything and began to blame me for not speaking up and told me we "expect all our customers to be upfront." I am honestly disappointed with her professionalism and the service she did not offer in trying to fix or accommodate the complaint. After reviewing all the positive reviews and searching where I want to treat myself I chose this establishment and I am dissatisfied with what I received. My tips were not properly sealed so they are lifting underneath my nail, we will see how long they last with the line of work I do. I paid $125 dollars cash plus a $7 dollar cash tip to Hailey. I will more than likely not...
Read moreI bummed to have to write this review because everyone at this salon was very nice. But getting your nails done for some is a splurge and this pricing here is very high and I would have wanted to know ahead of time what I was getting into. I want to start by saying that if you can afford it this is definitely a good place to go, they did a wonderful job. I got a basic gel manicure which is on their menu for $42 I did need to have one tip put on a broken nail and did get a design which wasn't anything close to the picture I showed (see attached). The only change I asked for was to switch the pink for black. I will say I do like how this turned out just wasn't what I thought I was getting. This cost $60 and no arm massage was included in the manicure like at all other places and I did have to do some cuticle cutting the next day. My daughter got a full set gel manicure ($55 on the menu) with a design. Every place we've been has been no more then $10 extra for design. She was charged a total for $104 for everything. When I questioned the pricing I was told that she was accidentally charged twice for the "shape" and that was $7, in addition it was $5 for length, which if she had gone any shorter the tips would have been irrelevant (see picture with orange french) $15 for french and $15 for design. I was refunded for the overcharge and after a discussion about the length I was refunded for that as well. Even with the $12 refund $92 for this is incredibly high. We've never been charged for a basic almond shape which is all she gets and definitely have never been charged extra for this length at most places it's $5 for the french and $5 for the design. So again while everybody was very nice including the person that refunded my $12 I just can't justify paying $92 for this or $60 for a manicure that doesn't even come with a massage on top of a 20% tip which we did give. Just can't justify $192 for nails. Also as a side note you would not be able to sit together with a group of more than two as the stations only fit two...
Read moreCame in here for a special occasion. It was our first time after seeing rave reviews all over social media. Now after experiencing the staff, and environment for myself I’m starting to think the “influencers” get the best treatment. The only male I saw in the salon was kinda rude, gave us dirty looks, and was too busy cleaning out his new Audi to actually take care of things on the floor. They had to redo the set, which I appreciated and I appreciated all of the women in this salon. However the attitude of the younger male who wore lots of “designer” type clothes was enough for me to not go back again. Also they charge for everything. And I mean everything from length to shape to design so make sure you ask before hand so you don’t end up spending over $100 on nails you aren’t happy with. They also cut some of the nails/cuticles too short which caused them to bleed. The first time I’ve ever had this happen and I’ve been to well over 20 salons in Denver and surrounding areas. Just beware that if you aren’t coming in under the notion of posting rave reviews on social media you might not get the treatment everyone on social media raves about.
To edit. I’m 100% sure I have the right salon as when I called back to address the issues with the quality of work I spoke with Lucy who handled rescheduling and making sure the situation was fixed. As far as the man I am talking about he never introduced himself and only ever came up to the main counter, and then he would walk back outside to his car. He was the only younger male working. I also don’t use my full name for reviews as to keep myself free from unwarranted speculation or issues. I stand with my opinion that if you aren’t going to post rave reviews on social media by making a video, you do not get the same treatment in...
