Review for the facial service: I had the promo facial yesterday, it was great! I did want to leave feedback about it to help make the service even better. The good: -I was glad to fill out a form with my preferences, sensitivities, etc. (although Iâm not sure anything wouldâve changed had I answered differently) -I was offered water/tea at the beginning and end of the facial. -The room was nice and clean, but the light was pretty bright and made the experience as a whole less relaxing. Lamps wouldâve been really nice instead of the fluorescent, ceiling lighting. Although, at one point she dimmed the lights while my mask was sitting, and I wished they had been dim the whole time! -The table/bed was nice (loved that it was heated) -I liked the arm: lotion, massage, and heated gloves to begin the facial -The products felt good on my skin (Iâm dry and sensitive) -The lady who did the service was very personable and did a great job overall.
Needs improvement: -Never would I ever pay $95 for a nail salon facial. Just saying. -The lighting, as mentioned above, could be better -It would have been nice if I couldnât hear some of the noise of the nail salon while trying to relax. I asked for the soothing music to be turned up to help with this. -When my mask was sitting the technician left for a solid 10 minutes, and for $95 and a 60 minute facial I wouldâve expected some kind of other service while my mask was sitting (head/neck/dĂ©colletage massage (like Iâve experienced with other facials) -I wouldâve preferred to have quiet for the duration of the facial (except for necessary questions)
Overall, it was a nice experience and my skin feels great today, but I did not think it would be worth the normal...
Read moreI visited this spa the day of May 15th 2019. I was given a gift card that was valid for several businesses including SpaFinder. I have never used the service before so I visited the SpaFinder website and that's where I found the location and booked my appointment. The pedicure experience itself was nice with an average pedicure labeled "Deluxe", but an extremely kind nail tech. In the middle of my drying experience I was asked if I could pay, which seemed odd. At other salons I've always been able to enjoy my entire experience before paying. I gave the lady my gift card with a balance well over the needed amount & she returned to tell me their machine wasn't programmed properly for accepting my gift card. After a long song and dance and a conversation with the manager over the phone they were unable to process my payment with the gift card that their salon endorsed. Not only am I extremely frustrated by my experience I felt extremely mislead. I would have never driven to that side of town had I known the card I was going to use wasn't going to work. I expressed my frustration upon leaving but really felt disregarded. All that the lady cared about was that I had a different form of payment. She kept saying "uh huh" & "sorry" which from any consumer standpoint is extremely frustrating. The job of an employee is to help the consumer not dismiss them. I feel like my experience is VERY IMPORTANT to share so that nobody else feels blindsided by their misleading advertising. I would never recommend this...
Read moreI dont usually get my nails done very often and when I do I would always come here after having bad experiences at other nail salons in the area. I don't want to bash this salon but I feel like I should make some things known. The owner is truly a sweetheart, but one of her staff members did give me a nail infection and for that I will not be back. I knew something was up as soon I left the salon because my one finger was super painful but I just shrugged it off because I've only ever had good experiences there. I initially went in to get my nails done before vacation and that's when it all went South. While I was on vacation my Shellac nails started peeling off after only being on for 4 days max. I ended up having to find nail salon where I was on vacation at in Florida to have some of them fixed. While I was getting my nails fixed even they were surprised by how awful of a manicure it was. Once I got back the owner saw my review and let me come in for a free manicure which was super nice of her but after that that's when the infection got super bad. It was bad in Florida, but as soon as I got back and got my nails redone that one finger was so painful I couldn't even stand it. I went to the Doctor and I did get it confirmed that it was a nail infection. I don't think it was the place in Florida because they didn't even touch that finger and other than that this place is the only place I go or at least went to for nails. I understand that stuff happens but I will...
