I called Homegrown Moving and Storage after I saw their truck in the parking lot of the assisted living facility my wife was staying before and after major surgery. It was the week before September 30 and I was stunned they’d be able to move us on such short notice AT THE END OF YHE MONTH! They SHOWED UP ON TIME, which was another plus, and the move went seamlessly. But the most impressive thing was when I called the manager, John, to tell him the special wrench used to put the bed frame together was missing. Although John couldn’t find the wrench, (I went to the store where I purchased the bed frame for a replacement), John came out to tighten the nuts on the frame without any hesitation.

The move went very well, as you’d expect that any move should. But the sign of an exceptional company is that they respond to any “kink” in the transaction, no matter how big or small. John stepped up without hesitation, corrected the situation without hesitation.

Send 2 movers when you made it clear they needed 3? They'll work with you so you're not overcharged. Accidentally break something nostalgic due to a genuine misunderstanding? They'll fix it or pay you for the fix cost. These guys are amazing. Their office manager is super personable and their owner will pick up the phone if you ever have an issue.

The crew of Jake, Eli, James and Alejandro appeared at my parents' house on schedule at 845am. They carefully disassembled and wrapped all the furniture my parents were taking to their new senior living apartment. Jake and Eli expertly packed the kitchen, while James and Alejandro emptied closets as directed.
