Hello, Elemental! We've been anxiously awaiting your opening, and we're so glad you're here. So far I've had the espresso, drip coffee and Kouign-amann pastry (which was new to me).
One of the first things I noticed about Elemental was the commitment to "local". Local chips, local soda, local ceramics, compostable cup lids, in-house baked goods, etc. Everywhere you look, local products. This tells us a lot about the people at Elemental. They obviously want to support local Colorado businesses with their local Colorado business. Now, isn't that a great thing?
Coffee; The beans I've tried from Elemental are on the lighter side, but still very good. If I had my little way, I always choose getting punched in the face by my coffee beans, but the lighter flavor will suit most folks just right. Next time I'll be sure to try the cold brew to see if I get that umph, but I'm still happy with the espresso and drip coffees I've had here.
Bakery; The pastery was fantastic and I would get one again. I'd never had a Kouign-amann before. It's always good to be introduced to new things. Especially when those things are baked goods with lots of sugar and butter. I also look forward to trying their sandwiches when there is an opportunity.
This area desperately needed something like this within walking distance and Elemental gave it to us. Thanks for being here and for giving us coffee and baked goods with...
Read moreGreat spot to grab coffee or brunch with friends and family. There's lots of parking available with plenty of seating inside and outside the bakery. The inside cushioned seatings were extremely comfortable and I loved the fact that there were so many wall plugs available so that's great for people that want to come study or hangout with their electronics outside the house.
I got myself a matcha latte with a pump of vanilla syrup, a garlic knot pastry, and also some savory pastry with peppers and corn inside as the filling. Both baked good were the perfect amount of flakey, buttery, aromatic, and savory goodness.
Service was extremely great. The lady that helped me greeted me warmly and offered some help/advice if I needed. She also asked me if I wanted my latte with whole milk or substitute which was great because I sometimes forgot to sub the milk and my stomach is not happy afterwards.
I really loved the overall location, especially the fact that they showcase local artists inside and I believe there's some type of floral shop in the back as well. It's super community and family friendly. Would definitely love to...
Read more*updating review to five stars because they got a high chair! Thank you!
Visited with a friend on a Tuesday morning around 9:30 and this place was pleasantly busy. Purchased an iced americano and a baguette from the super kind and lovely baristas. We wanted to sit for a while but there was no high chair for my 11mo so we had to leave. The nice barista apologized for not having high chairs but I am still docking a star - please fix! I would love to come back here with my family and hang out so my 4yo can enjoy a croissant without having to eat it in the carseat on our drive home. They had a gift-y shop area: a collection of local art prints for sale, fresh flowers, and sourdough starter you could purchase - this thrilled me!
Iced Americano - good, nothing special though Baguette - great! Baristas - very lovely Space - open but thoughtful, would have loved to sit...
