Some Cool Shots From the Roofers Absolutley Killing this BEAUTY

Kyle Spencer at Interstate Roofing is nothing short of exceptional and has earned my unwavering trust as my go-to roofing expert. After working with him on two full roof replacements, I can confidently say his project management skills, technical expertise, and dedication to excellence set him apart. What makes Kyle truly outstanding is his ability to seamlessly blend deep industry knowledge with clear, proactive communication, all while maintaining a highly relational approach to his work. He takes the time to genuinely connect with his clients, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and confident throughout the entire process. His ability to explain every aspect of the project in a way that’s both thorough and easy to understand is a testament to his expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction. With Kyle, there’s never any uncertainty about timelines, costs, or processes - he keeps you informed every step of the way. His attention to detail is second to none. During both projects, Kyle proactively identified and addressed potential issues before they could escalate, recommended smart, cost-effective upgrades, and upheld the highest standards of workmanship. His crews are professional, efficient, and meticulous, leaving the worksite spotless upon completion. Beyond the project itself, Kyle's dedication to building strong, trust-based relationships is what truly sets him apart. Even after the work is done, he remains responsive, helpful, and ready to assist with any follow-up needs. His approach is not just transactional, it’s personal, ensuring that every client feels valued and supported long after the project is complete. After two flawless roofing projects, I can confidently say that Kyle isn’t just a contractor, he’s a true expert who takes immense pride in delivering top-tier results while fostering meaningful relationships with his clients. I recommend him without hesitation to anyone in need of roofing services. If you’re looking for impeccable project management, craftsmanship, and a contractor who truly cares, look no further. 5/5 stars - Interstate Roofing and Kyle Spencer set the gold standard in roofing services.

We had an awful experience working with Interstate Roofing and Brendon James as our project manager. These issues were only caught because we work from home and took the remainder of the day off to document the issues with the install. The roofing team was completely unsupervised and Brendon refused to visit the work site to remedy the accumulating errors. • Shingles were placed directly over holes from removed vents without a patch or vapor barrier. • The roofing team cut our roof several inches wider than the ridge vent tolerance and no end cap was placed. • A hammer was used to 'smash away' the roof when the saw stopped working (picture). • During the first repair attempt, shingles were pulled off the roof nails then the same shingles were reinstalled (picture) • Shingles were folded back and creased then reinstalled (picture) We called corporate to let them know the roofer was reinstalling damaged shingles, but no one communicated this to the roofer who continued on to use the same method on the garage. The team refused to do repairs until we had representatives from the shingle company state shingles could not be torn off or creased and reinstalled, and from the ridge vent company to confirm that the hole for the ridge vent could not be 3x wider than the ridge vent itself. The roofer came a third time to repair the damages to a 'good enough' level. I do not recommend Interstate Roofing or Brendon James unless you have the time to supervise the work, follow up with the company, and show documentation of standard roofing practices.

We had our roof replaced this 6/2023. Mr. Bosley came out and gave us our estimated, we signed a contract. He was recommended because he was a former Marine, and worked with veteran families. We put down the money requested but were advised additional things maybe found and a supplement filed. Ok, no problem. Unknown to us, Mr. Bosley wrote for the whole insurance claim including windows, paint, other repairs (even though they were being done by another contractor he was recommended to us by) this according to our insurance was told to us after the fact. Roof was done, and done well. The crew was nice, courteous and professional. But when the final bill was requested, there were additional funds added at $4759 and our deposit was left off. When the correct bill was requested, the deposit was added, but there was no explanation for the additional charges. Two additional request were made by us for the break-down of the additional charges. Finally, we got the break-down for the additional charges when the insurance requested them. Insurance found we were double charged for the removal of the roof materials, and upgraded from a 3-Tab to a laminate roof, NOT required in Colorado. (The insurance did a second review of the charges to verify the upgrade, and it was not required.) The insurance did pay for a few of the addition things, but we were still out of pocket for the almost $4000. We had paid the bill, not knowing the supplement was not going to be covered. Our fault, we have never had to replace a roof or deal with insurance before, but we are honorable people who pay our bills. Despite a conversation with Mr. Bosley, we were NEVER refunded for the double charge of removal of material. Mr. Bosely's advised us to get an attorney if we did not like the outcome from the insurance, and we should consider suing the insurance. Our insurance advised us Mr. Bosley was very aggressive and rude when talking to them about why he upgraded the roofing material. Mr. Bosely even called us to tell us he was very rude with them. Use your own judgement, it all seems to be nothing but shady, and we feel preyed upon, especially when claiming to be veteran friendly business. Mr. Bosley showed up proudly wearing the Marine Corps emblem around his neck, even pointing it out at the sale appointment... my husband is a combat decorated Marine who served with honor and was decorated...this whole thing has felt like a slap in the face. So beware....

Like many other homes in Metro Denver my home suffered significant hail damage during 2023. There were a number of “sales types” who came by with all sorts of offers and promises about repairing/replacing my roof.

Steve Dye from Interstate was different. Steve talked about the overall process from dealing with my insurance company including their: inspection, initial report, definitions of RCV and ACV (replacement and actual cost value), additional damage discovered during the work and meeting current building code requirements. He showed me a number of different roofing shingles and help me select the appropriate one (not the most expensive) to meet my needs. Steve also recommended patience on my part as the insurance company’s Que can be frustrating.

This was my first major homeowner claim in over 40 years of owning homes. One of the unexpected values Steve and Interstate brought to the project was the willingness to be my interface to my insurance company. While I was copied on all communications, Steve made a number of submittals to the insurance company explaining where their inspectors miss some items, provided updated code requirements and responded to all of their questions/concerns.

As to the actual replacement of my roof, Interstate was professional. They told me in advance what to expect. Their performance including a project time line, covering the ground around my home with tarps to retain nails and roofing material and full cleanup (including using a magnetic roller to pick up stray nails) after the roof was installed. There was some additional needed repairs discovered during the work requiring another insurance coverage request. The insurance company initially rejected this claim. Steve provided more data/information to them and we reached an appropriate settlement on this final coverage request.

While I hope to never have to replace another roof, if I do, my first and only call with be to Interstate Roofing...
