I've been living in Green Valley Ranch since it's inception in 2000. It's great finally having a market in the GVR neighborhood that offers all fresh, often local organic food. I myself was particularly excited because I'm vegetarian. I thought surely they'll offer good wholesome customer service as well. NOT!!!! The people that work at the store act like they hate the world! Never a smile. They act abrupt as though you're in their way instead of the other way around. They never ask are you finding everything ok? Or if they assist you in any way. I've been to the store out of sheer necessary approx 5times, hoping each time that maybe I can just get in & out without any type of negativity. NOT!!!! The cashiers are so awful I can barely stand it! I hate when I have to pep-up someone that works somewhere that is supposed to be providing a service, but I have to be the first one who greets or most of the time the only one who greets because they're standing there looking at you as though you're bothering them. I get better service & smiles from my usual high-priced neighborhood King Soopers where I can always count on a friendly face for assistance or a smile to pick up my day. I already hate the Sprout's in GVR but don't always feel like driving over to Northfield just to get treated like a human who chose them to spend my money with. ONE CASHIER REALLY MAKES YOU'RE ESTABLISHMENT LOOK REALLY BAD! Her name on my receipt is, FEMINA. Not only does she look unfriendly, intimidating and mean, she actually IS all of those adj's. She's got a nasty demeanor who I can see myself letting her have it one day! It seems this particular store doesn't hire smiling faces. I've noticed the turnover there is high. Last but not least, there aren't any "Slow" or " Stop" signs in the parking lot and cars tear through there almost running customers down! Please get it together so that the neighborhood residents don't have to escalate any of those issues. All of my concerns are magnified because this is a majority Black/Brown neighborhood where the disparity of treatment is often by design. BE BETTER! FYI, Natural Grocers isn't too much better than your Sprouts.
Sincerely,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have shopped at this Sprouts location since the day they opened. You WILL feel like a criminal when you shop here, it happens to me every time. They treat every patron like they have the intent to steal stuff here. For context, there are NO homeless people/encampments/anything like that near this location close to the airport. This is not a high foot traffic downtown area, itās a grocery store next to a pediatrician and a coffee shop in the SUBURBS.
There is a police camera and security tower permanently taking up a parking spot in their lot to set the tone when you walk in. It has been there for years.
Selection is great, donāt get me wrong. The store has the organic rarities that the organic girlies need. Itās true. Steaks and meat are usually top notch here. Youāll pay in excess for what you need but itās usually in stock.
The staff will watch you like a hawk while you ring up your own groceries in self checkout (on fish eye lens camera at the kiosk too, so someone is also watching you from the loss prevention office) while they stand there and watch the line for self checkout grow and keep chit chatting with the regular checkout lanes closed, and then theyāll ask to see your receipt 4 footsteps later as you try to leave the store as if they didnāt just watch you struggle to ring up everything yourself without bags.
The last time I was there I was stopped by an employee as I was leaving with the $200 worth of groceries she watched me buy, and she made me transfer all of my groceries (they had no paper bags to buy for $.10 so I had loose groceries) from the little green handheld basket into a metal cart. She said that if I left the store with the little green basket (I could toss a rock a hit my car from the front door of Sprouts) a homeless person would come and take it. There are no homeless people. I also wasnāt just going to set the basket on the asphalt and dipā¦? But thatās just how they treat you at this lovely grocery store.
It sucks. Spend your money elsewhere if you are able to. The store...

Requests for refund sent. Charged for large Haas Avocado $3 missing from delivery. Charged for 1 lb $13.79 of deli ham but only 0.5 Lb received $7.61. Butternut Squash $3.99 expire date Jan 4 on delivery 830pm Jan 4. EVERY ORDER FROM INSTACART, Sprouts and King Soopers has been wrong. Now YOU ARE STEALING my money, charging me for your employees' ineptitude in filling a simple grocery order!!!
Previous review... This store is great except they have a huge FAIL in the deli department. There is a huge difference in the slice scale from other stores. So much that I must ask to see the slice of deli meat before they slice the rest. The deli is also always short staffed, always, since the day this store opened. The length of time waiting for 1 lb of deli meat is beyond words. No urgency or care about how many folks waiting. Deli staff has clearly not been trained and/or have never made a sandwich! Constantly slicing deli meats too thick even at #2 settings. Not sure if their machines are off, or if the staff is poorly trained. Either way, no one cares. I have spoken with the store staff and managers about this issue several times yet nothing has changed. I realize there are many issues with hiring in this area, but again, no excuse. Also I find the "fill out the form" at the deli and come back for your deli order quite annoying and unnecessary. We were so excited to have a Sprouts closer in our neighborhood but we will NOT be going back there. We still prefer to drive to Northfield store where we have never had any of these issues and a much friendlier, smiling staff, eager to help! Not at this store, most of the deli employees who have helped us have had a bored and...
