So many missteps! My coffee got cold waiting for them to open the sugar free syrup and prepare the pump to make my drink.
Coffee was nonetheless enjoyable but definitely not the hottest. Salad greens were served with the core in them.
Though I inquired about the cookie I ordered that didn't arrive with my food, nor was it given to me with my order. The server merely shrugged her shoulders and walked away to serve the other table. She came back to see if my salad was okay, but didn't return with my cookie.
They greeted the customer behind me with a welcome in, but overlooked my entrance to this place.
Being my first visit to this place, I won't likely be encouraged to return. Though it's strawberry season, my strawberry appeared to be defrosted rather than fresh as I got further into my salad... The blueberry, blue cheese, candied pecans are the best bite of my salad! Now I am left with the dilemma of what to do about my missing cookie? Will they believe me, care that I never received it? Or do I just let it go?
Being that I am reviewing this place... let me go ask...there was a new server at the register! He was great! Not only did he apologize, make it easy, he threw in an extra cookie to make it right! He was the best part of my experience today! This young man understands the power of excellent customer service and care! Read moreWe like coming here on the weekends but it's so inconsistent. The first time we came was about an hour after they opened for the day, and the staff was clearly flustered. The cashier explained they were still setting up, and everything would be a while. Which is was, but by the time we got everything, it was worth the wait. We came back the following weekend and ordered a large coffee and a medium coffee. We're charged as such but received two mediums. Another weekend we went and I ordered the yogurt parfait (which I'd had before) but it looked like there was only yogurt and fruit, when asked about it i was informed they put the granola on the bottom so it was soggy by the time it was brought out. Another time the cashier had us stand at the counter and watch her make the coffees while she was multitasking between fixing the machine, taking other customer orders, and she ended up remaking our coffees (by her own decision) 3 times. It was about 20 minutes of watching her do this, and she still gave us the wrong sizes. Then last weekend, our coffee was brought to the table. We ordered two, but after 15 minutes, a waitress brought over a coffee and set it on the table without saying anything until she was back at the front and hollered which coffee was supposed to be. 10 minutes later, we got the other coffee. Neither tasted good.
So, not major complaints, but getting wrong orders repeatedly and awkward interactions with the staff definitely appears...
Read moreOur office likes to order lunch for meetings from Corner Bakery here and there. The food are good and have their right flavors. But sadly, their customer service is not so good to the point that it satisfy us.
Today, we ordered a pick up online order(like usual) and came to find out that we were missing two bacon avocado bowl. So we thought, we'd give them a call and ask for a refund. At first, the girl who answered the call, told us that they couldn't refund us because it was a doordash order and the doordash driver was the one who forgot the order. I was the one who picked up the food and the girl who packed and gave me our order said that it was all my order, and it wasn't a doordash order that we placed. So, one they were either misinformed or didnt want to take the blame. So, we tried to ask if they can refund us a partial amount just for the two bowls, and they said they dont do refunds. They were telling us that they could discounted the 2 bowls we missed and give us the food back if we come and get it :D I did and they did give us a refund for the 2 bowls.
Mind you though, this was not our first time experiencing this mistakes. The first one they also forgot a few things.
All in all, I hope they can get better with their customer service and...
