Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Denver

I’ve ordered at this location multiple time due to it being close to home and my hopes it was just a bad day and they’d do better next time. My online orders are always wrong even if I go to pick it up myself they have a drive thru but I usually end up waiting because my order hadn’t even been started and they still either miss ingredients or make whatever order they want and give it to you if it’s being delivered. Today I went inside to order there to one person whose card declined and he walked out with his food anyway(4th before me) so by time I get up to pay another employee(I assume maybe the manager) walks up to help the lady at the register to reprint a receipt for another customer. The guy helping her right away tells me my card declined and reads off an order that wasn’t mine. I told him that was not my order and my card was not declined he tells the lady “her card declined right” she says “no that’s not hers that was the guy from earlier who walked out” the guy slides over my burrito no bag and says “you’re ok to go.” Irritated at this point I tell him “I paid for a medium drink I need my cup” and he shoved the cup in my hand as if I was wrong for correcting his mistake. As a person who also works in customer service but most importantly understands how to be a decent human knows that was not ok. He could have apologized for his assumptions and ensured he was looking at my order correctly. They got bold with a person who was smaller but let a grown ass man argue with them over a declined card and left with his order...

Okay I have to update my initial review. I'll try not to make this too long but it will be. When this location first opened I thought- we have about 3 months before it goes downhill. Like clockwork I was right. The parking lot is HORRIBLE. I mean it is beyond tight. It is atrocious how compact that parking lot is. Next, the service is so very disappointing. I ordered a veggie bowl, which comes with guacamole for free. I don't like guac mixed in my bowl so I asked for it on the side. The rude little girl proceeds to tell me it must be in the bowl or I'll be charged for it. Make that make sense! What does it matter if it's on the side or in the bowl???? I'm paying for it and if I want guac on the side...PUT IT ON THE SIDE! On another visit my neice orderd a bowl. The employee had a random bowl just sitting there with remnants of rice and beans in it from a previous customer that changed their mind. She proceeds to ask my niece "do you mind if I use this bowl to mke your order, there was just rice in it?" My niece said "no thank you'. This rude employee started making the bowl with much attitude, slinging topings in the bowl, rushing her saying anything else, what else. Then proceeded to tell her they are out of chicken and went to get some crusty old chicken from the mobile pick up side. I love my niece, she let her go through all the rude motion and at the very end she told her "go ahead and throw it away. I don't even want it". I don't know how this new store performs so poorly so...

My 1 star review was deleted. Private companies can pay Google to remove negative reviews.

After going to this location I will never in my life go to another Chipotle ever again.

Portions are significantly smaller on the app when you order at this location, so I started going inside to order. I used points on the app to pay for a side of guacamole.

I told the cashier that my points didn't go through because the total was wrong and the extra fee wasn't removed. She assured me it was and that my math was wrong. I paid with cash and looked at the receipt. I noticed I was in fact still charged for the guacamole and asked for a refund for that portion. The manager had to issue the refund and asked for my credit card. I told her I used cash and she called me a liar. The receipt even showed that I was given change.

Pay attention to your receipt at this place, especially if you use points from the app. They add extra things to your bill then lie repeatedly about it. Literally 2 employees here tried to gaslight me so they can steal my money. This is not even the first time this has happened here, but it will be the last.

Also, the rating should be even lower than it already is. They remove 1 star reviews.
