Thompson's Redemption & Convenience Inc — Local services in Derby

Stayed in a lake house in Derby and stopped here on the way back home. 10/10, best gas station I think I have ever stopped at on the entire east coast. The gas pump said self serve but a gentleman came out (possibly the owner?) to offer to pump it for us anyway, and left the choice up to us. We declined and he offered us a treat for the dog, which I accepted. I headed in to retrieve said treat, and my dog happily obliged.

To my surprise I found quite a nice selection of goods inside! Not only was there a freshly brewed coffee selection, there were some locally picked items as well as local cheese, dog treats for sale and a good selection of cold beverages and snacks.

My favorite part though was the cashier and the very nice gentleman who were both so warm and welcoming, especially to the pup. If I’m in this area again I will definitely be...

They aren't very friendly at all wife went to get propane tank filled and they didn't use the pressure bleeder valve and then she went to hook it up and it was hissing as soon as she tried to use it she called after trying to make sure it was connected right a few times the guy tells he to play with the valve screw and that they don't really have to use it when they fill a tank both are wrong and very dangerous and I can't believe a certified technician would tell someone to do that then when I get home I figured out exactly what was going one and call and I wasn't rude at all I was a little upset because he told her to play with the pressure valve I figured it was a new employee but imagine my shock when it asked his name after the third call back and he says...

Lately most everyone's rude and hates getting propane even though 3 of our tanks came from price chopper 8 months ago they complain they are old even though the dates are on the side and the 4th tank is fine until June they talk to themselves filling the tanks and boy they really shouldn't offer it if mornings are to cold farmyard is always happy never rude and actually help u carry them hoping this is the last time we ever have to bring the tanks here. No one smiles ever...
