Roasters Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in Derby

Today was not my best experience at Roasters. Matt was on vacation, and so they had a different chef. I ordered my favorite, the French Toast Sandwich, and it was very different from the way Matt makes it. There was no maple cream, and it was cold. The service was great, however. I will go again on Monday when Matt is back from vacation.

I went this morning for my French Toast Sandwich and it was awesome! Matt was cooking and one can tell he cooks with love! I recommend Roasters to everyone!

Wow, I loved this quaint little cafe. Burger was oh so tasty. Where I’m from in Canada we have never heard of hamburger but I love the American food. Loved the small warm vibe, however the framed picture of a coffee cup with the word cafe was a little on the nose. Lot of Christian decor which was personally off putting because my uncle who worked at the palm restaurant attempted to forcibly convert me from catholic to jehova, so dysfunctional cross addicted family but that’s beside the point. So as someone that travels for work and not usually pleasure I end up in some out of the way places ,Derby VT being one of them .Woke up hungry and found this road side gem.Cafe is a good discription , The waitress greets you with a smile and it's always good when the tables are full of locals . Service was outstanding , food cooked to order and the homemade bread toasts up perfect . Nearly never wrote a review because at 8:30 and there is only one table left and I want a seat the next time I'm this way . If your near here you should stop and experince rural VT...
