Harding Hills — Local services in Des Moines

Compared to other hyvee stores in the city and suburbs it falls more than short. Employees are sorely lacking in training. There are only a limited amount of managers who actually attempt to help. Never apology for errors made. No knowledge of policies . Inventory is always short or not in. Produce is sick and never looks fresh or inviting. Is floor ever mopped or buffed? Giant stain on floor remaining from before rehab. Never any greetings from management when coming into store ( this was first observed when I shopped 30 minutes after store opened for the day). I love the pharmacy department. Answers all questions and extremely helpful. This is the only exception. Willing to even come out and help with finding over the counter meds. Minuscule choices for floral, grill and no Chinese food at all. Please post my opinion minus my name. If not i cannot share any other honest negative thoughts...

I was shopping last night pick up a few things and an employee comes up and says well you got to go now we're closed and I had some things I was asking Michael Okay purchase these real quick so I go to go purchase them and I have to use the register cuz I'm using my over the counter benefits for my my insurance and they tell me what this rate is close you got to go sell checkout why can't check myself out with my card I'll check out they have to so they totally just you know you just have to leave without your stuff so I set the basket down and then they tell me well you can't just set the basket down you know and don't come back here no more highly disappointed in the staff there they've been picking on me for a while last month they took over $80 for my healthy benefits and overcharge me and wouldn't return the credit...

Some great small businesses in this portion of town and a lot of open area parking all around . I have spent unimaginable amounts of days & nights over there for there are many low rent apartments around the HYVEE MLK and I have had had a dozen or more Friends and.Family members staying in them .. loads of memmories but that's about it!. I hate.how Hy-Vee (which was everyone's fav store back then,) has took away the booths where you could sit and eat.hot food, blocked off most all the entrances, made chaotic mazes of tacky particians so as to make customer servicel hard as hell to get to!! Nah. I don't desire another bad kharma feeling seeing this psychology being the shitty preferred public appearances are...
