I am not impressed with the level of competency that I experienced with this store. I had an older Singer sewing machine that we brought in for maintenance and to determine if it was worth fixing if anything was found need of repair. All they were able to tell us was that it didn't stay running, and they heard some clunking noise, and suggested not to bother with maintenance or repair. First of all, after it was brought home I notice that if the plug was not pressed in all the way that yes it indeed did not stay powered. If one was to securely connect the plug the machine runs fine without losing power. I would expect a repair shop to determine the cause of the "clunking" noise in order to determine if it was worth the cost of repair, which I cannot figure out what noise they were hearing. This shop didn't go past plugging in the machine, no investigation of why the machine wasn't staying powered and what the cause of so called noise was. I equate this to going to a doctor who notices that your toe is black and blue but doesn't put in any effort to determine the cause and whether it needs repair, rather...
Read moreI called and was told my vacuum was fixed and ready to be picked up. I drove 50 miles to find out my vacuum was not fixed. I had to wait for them to fix it. Eric told me he wouldn’t charge me the full amount, but he still did. A year later my vacuum was having issues again. I decided to bring it in and give them a second chance. They were going to charge me $90 to replace the cord. I declined then fixing it and told them I’d pick it up. They gave me back my vacuum but no cord. They threw it away without my permission. I do not recommend them and will not be returning.
Edit: Lack of communication again. The owner said it would cost $170 for the cord and brushroll or $90 for just the cord. Like I said I will be avoiding...
Read moreMy carpets in my office were looking rough, particularly in the high traffic areas. They were so bad that I was thinking I might need to replace some carpet with tile or another flooring. I decided to go to Windsor Vacuum to see about renting a carpet cleaner so that I could try and clean the high traffic spots thoroughly. Denise walked me through her suggestions on products to use and how to apply them plus I got an easy tutorial on how to use the cleaner (rather easy). After some time well spent on cleaning over the weekend I am happy to say the carpets look amazing! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone as they are friendly, helpful...
