From 4 pm to 5pm on a Saturday, the Great Clips app, says "walk in's only." I looked it up at 4:20, there was a 21 minute wait, I drove accrossed town to get my haicut at the Windsor Heights location. Naturally, when it literally says, "walk ins only.." What would that tell you they accept?? A, WALK IN, Right?!? Anyways, I get there at 4:40. 20 minutes after it said 21 minute wait with no ability for anyone to further make appointments online. Which means, there was a minimum of 20 minutes worth of haircuts that needed to be done. And that's assuming no one showed up during the time that it took me to get there.. I came in, there two hairstylists there. One had nothing to do, the other was finishing up one man. The one doing nothing, says, "Sorry, I'm no longer accepting appointments". I said, "you have no one in line, nothing to do, no one here but me." She responded with, "yeah, but I'm waiting for these appointments that were scheduled online to show up." It literally would have taken 10 minutes to cut my hair, and I always give tips. Especially in a situation like that.. If you guys don't take appointments. Don't say you accept, "WALK INS ONLY". Just say, APPOINTMENTS ONLY.. So stupid. I've never been told that ever before, and I've shown up to Great Clips a lot of times 10 minutes or less before they close. I was 20 minutes before closing. You had nothing to do, but you'd rather sit there and not help a willing, paying customer and wait for someone who probably won't show up anyways. Super frustrating.. And, I actually like the manager at that location. I hope she sees this and tells her employees to do better.
That was a total waste of my time and gas. When you guys were the ones completely misleading with a lazy employee not wanting to do anything. Who cares if I didn't sign up online. If you accept walk ins, accept a walk in!! What's the worst that's going to happen, someone who scheduled an appointment has to wait an extra 10 minutes because they didn't show up when it was their...
Read moreI gave them 2 stars because they are very friendly and I’m trying to be nice given the time of year. I have received great haircuts from this place in the past but there is one stylist that everytime she cuts my hair, I end up going home and basically giving myself another haircut. She always misses the front of my hair and I always find numerous spots she didn’t even cut. I get a very basic haircut that shouldn’t be hard to screw up, but yet after many times giving her the chance to redeem herself, I find myself writing this review because she continues to mess it up. I think what really triggered my review this time is the fact that she was bragging about how fast her average haircut time is. No kidding when you skip half of the hair! I usually go to this location or another location and I think I’ve finally gotten to the point that I can’t go back to this location. It’s too bad because it’s right in my neighborhood and I like to support businesses close to me. The amount of frustration I get everytime leaving this place has made it hard for me to go back. Looks like the Johnston location will be getting my...
Read moreWorst experience at this location with my almost 10 year old special needs son. I couldn't believe how rude this woman was to him, everything he did she was on him about it. He used to hate hair cuts and now he does pretty good at them but he has low muscle tone, but he was doing fine. There was comments like "don't lean on me I can't cut your hair if you're leaning on me," "you need to sit up straight," several times"if you can't keep your head straight your bangs are going to be crooked". At the end was really snappy about asking him if he wanted a suckee. Y'all need more patience and grace with kids because that's not how you...
