Worst experience doing business with AT&T Devils lake!!! I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as the service they are providing is absolutely terrible!
We are sitting in South Africa with an iPhone 12 that we bought last year. The phone gets locked when you travel to another country and you get told that you have to wait 6 months for the phone to be unlocked. We have now reached the 6 month mark. They promised us that it would be an easy and quick job to unlock the phone from their side once the 6 month period is over.
We phoned them 23 times yesterday and still no one could help us after being on the phone for more than 3 hours. They keep on saying they are putting you through to someone who will be able to help. This is apparently a job that only takes a few minutes to get done and we haven't had any success.
Jeremy is the salesman that sold the phone to us, which we paid for in cash. Jeremy started helping us yesterday in one of the many conversations we had with numerous people. To get hold of him now is an absolute waste of time and money as we are calling from South Africa. We spoke to one of the staff members today and she keeps on saying Jeremy's busy and won't be able to speak to us and she doesn't know how to help us because Jeremy has already worked on this and knows exactly what to do but we will have to phone him back later.

   Read moreThe rebates they tell you never come .... Here is what happened to me. I was approached at my place of business that there was a short term promotion from AT&T ON HWY 2 by Nicki . I have 6 phones and 2 i-pads connected to my business. I only share this so you don't fall into the trap I did. Nicki said My bill would go down $350 dollars a month and I was promised a $900. debit card. I received the first card for $90. I was surprised. I stopped in the store and they told me that the rest of the refund debit cards would be coming. My receipt that I had said I had a rebate coming . Then I received $230. from them several months later. Still Short. I dropped my card back to Nicki and she said she would Have the manager call Me . NOTHING HAPPENED . No one called? So today nearly 10 months later i stopped to see what I could do to get this handled. The manager Jeff Wanted nothing to do with me. He said , this is turned over to the corporate lawyers. I asked for my $230.00 card back and they insist that they do not have my card. I have never felt so screwed in my life. Another tip for any shoppers. AT&T is not a good signal in our area. I had problems receiving a phone last month. one phone was dropped in the snow bank next to my mailbox, when the phone clearly fits in the mailbox. the second one was sent to my house, said it was delivered, but then was returned to Texas. Have no idea why it wasn't put in my mailbox or in the snowbank again. smh. Now today i went to the gym and my phone was on, left and my phone is off and won't power on. called the number here and like last month and anytime i call this number no one answers and i get a call center which is as helpful as asking anyone over the age of 85 any high tech questions..... i'm implying useless. anyway will have to go to the store physically since no one can answer the phones.
