The meat here might B a bit pricier than some, but U most definitely get exactly what U pay for!! The people R extremely courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. No question is too dumb to ask here. They'll give U helpful advice about not only buying the meat, but how best 2 cook it. There's so much 2 choose from besides meat as well. Cheeses, sausages, lunch meat, bacon, jerky, a VAST array of brats, onion rings, fries, cheese Curds, poppers, the list is endless. There's just the right amount of fat in/on everything 2 make cooking and absolute breeze and everything taste like chef's kiss. And NO fillers in anything. Our son NEVER EVER liked hot dogs, brats, summer sausage, breakfast sausages, jerky until we started buying all of that up at Haubers. Now he loves it all. Actually does up there sometimes specifically just 2 buy some jerky or summer sausage. U can NEVER go wrong with anything up...

Last time we went ,it sucked. My wife noticed expiration dates have been removed on some of the cheeses . When she asked an employee they didn’t know why. She bought beef sticks ,cheddar cheese and a small Limburger cheese. The beef sticks didn’t taste fresh , the cheese was lacking flavor. The Limburger cheese , I cut 1 small piece it was so dried out , instantly after eating it , I just about threw up and was sick most of the night. We recently moved to the area and everyone was telling us to buy our meat from Hauber. We finally took the chance and purchased some steaks this past weekend to take for a family meal in Iowa. The steaks were amazing! The whole family ranted and raved about the quality and taste. We already have orders from family for our next trip to Marion. My boyfriend is a Butcher by trade, and even he was impressed! Can't wait to try more from Hauber...
