BEWARE!!!! REBATES DONT PAY OUT!!!! We have about $1500 bucks in rebates from the Menards in Dickinson ND from when we built our garage this Summer. We mailed them in at the beginning of September 2017. We have been trying to contact someone to resolve this matter for months and are basically being pawned off from Menards to Rebate International. Rebate International has no phone number. You must email them. In order to email this company you need your rebate number and your tracking number. We mailed these things in, so we don’t have that information and we were never advised by Menards to write this information down or make copies of it. AND I DID ASK A MANAGER ABOUT THE REBATE PROCESS BEFORE WE DECIDED TO PURCHASE MATERIALS HERE. It was supposed to be simple. Mail them in. Period. We can’t possibly contact Rebate International because we no longer have the tracking or rebate information. This is absolute poppy cock. And a deceitful way to run a business. Especially since we only bought our building supplies (over $10,000 worth of materials!!!) because of the rebates. And Menards in Dickinson, if you’re reading this, we still need to finish our basement this summer and WILL NOT be buying materials from Menards if this matter isn’t resolved toot sweet. Word to the wise, if you try to use your rebates from this place, make photo copies of your rebates BEFORE you mail them off. And even then, I have no idea if you’ll actually ever...
Read moreWe went to Menards to get supplies for a project we are doing. We are getting older and walking is painful on our backs. We got in back left corner to building supplies, asked to get chipboard cut; no was the answer. I am allergic to colognes and perfumes and had to get out of there as one of the young men must have taken a bath in his cologne ! We asked 3 people for help and they just pointed , one to the other end of the store (that narrowed down our search?) Another one said to go down 4 or 5 isles and the product should be there somewhere? By that time our backs were hurting pretty bad and we only found a couple things on our list! Then we found a young man named Eric JR I don't want to post his employee # but in case anyone cares you can contact me. Eric found our tile we wanted and then asked what else was on our list? I said why? He said because I am going to walk you through the rest of your list so you get everything you need! This young man is a keeper! He found all we needed and waited to make sure that when we went through the checkout that our supplies would be brought back to loading dock as we had to load the chipboard first and supplies on top. Thank-you Eric for making it easier on two old duffers! Holly Vallard,...
Read moreWe've been shopping at this location a LOT lately while doing a remodel to our kitchen and bathroom. Some employees are very helpful and have great customer service, and some not. Yesterday, we purchased several bathroom items including tub, surround, vanity, medicine cabinet, lighting, etc. In the process of loading, we noticed we were charged for 2 tubs, 2 surrounds, 2 enclosures. I took my receipt to the front desk and was "helped" by Theresa. I explained what happened and she explained it back wrong. She didn't understand. I explained it again with the receipts on the counter and she said so you don't need these other items? No, I just don't need the 2 tubs, 2 surrounds, 2 enclosures. She again didn't understand. It wasn't difficult, she just wasn't listening. She got an attitude and threw her pen on the desk and went to refund the items that were double charged. The office manager, Cynthia witnessed this behavior. I have dealt with Cynthia several times and she has always been courteous and helpful. People like Theresa should not be at the "customer service" counter, when they don't want to offer "good" customer service. There's no need to get an attitude. This changed a 5 star rating to 3 - no tolerance for...
