03/20/22 we went to go see the Batman @8:15pm and the security working that Night Shift was so rude and disrespectful. During the movie he went inside and kept looking at us and stand near us and my 6 years said why is that man looking at us . I told him I wasn’t sure . Min later he raised his voice at us and said my 1 year old was being loud . He was NOT being . Wetness infront of us even went and talk to staff members and told them what that man did to us and that no one was being loud not even our kid . I left outside the movie to talk to a manager and he follow me to just continue to disrespect me. He wouldn’t even let me talk to the manager. Later he said “you embarrassed me by doing what u did inside , you should apologize to me “ walking out to speak to a manager? I told him no u embarrassed me and my family for what you did . At that point I was upset with him already . He later apologized and said “I’m just having a bad day , I been having complaints from other people (not u guys) and I heard noise and assume it was you guys” I honestly felt embarrassed and that was so unprofessional of him . Manager was very nice and apologized for his actions and gave us a refund even tho we ask her not to . I hope that Man either gets fired or...
Read moreWent to a May showing of the new final destination film. The soda price here is $9. The tickets on their website are advertised as $12.25 for an adult ticket, but they are actually more expensive. After paying for the overpriced tickets, and entering the theater, we had to wait 18 minutes past the show time for the movie to start. The show time for the movie was 6:35, but the trailers didn't even start until 6:53. Once the movie started, they didn't turn the lights off until the movie was playing for about 10 minutes which made everyone in the crowd upset because there was too much glare on the screen to see anything with the lights on. Even after the lights were turned off, the display was still horrible. It was way too dark, and you couldn't see details. People were complaining the entire time. Once it got close to the end of the movie, the lights turned back on which ruined the finale of the movie. This was the worst theater experience that I've personally ever had, and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who values their money and actually cares about seeing the movie...
Read moreDinuba's Platinum Theater gave me high hopes, and most of them were fulfilled to the greatest. First off, out here in the middle of Dinuba, most people can't drive to faraway Fresno to see the latest movie or spend time with their family. Platinum Theaters makes those things possible. While their outer decor and movie offers leave much to be desired, the ticket booth wait is usually about 20 seconds, due to the theater's size. Before watching a movie, there are mini cycling quizzes, jokes, and pictures to read and talk about before the official commercials begin. They leave the lights on dim during this, allowing for much socializing, and, since their theaters are small, there are not a lot of rude people that yell at others during the picture. The concession stand offers a variety of snacks and drinks for their costumers, which don't disappoint, overall, in a small city like Dinuba, Platinum Theaters is a great choice to spend...
