After 5 years of FAITHFULLY patronizing Dixon Florist, I will NEVER use them again. I will NEVER recommend them again (as I have to many of my family members since 2013). Since 2013, I have ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my father’s gravesite a minimum of 4 times in the year: Father’s Day, Birthday, Christmas, and the anniversary of his death. I live on the opposite side of the country on the East Coast, so you can imagine the difficulty in not being able to visit his grave in person on these sentimental and important days. The flowers I sent have become everything (and the only thing) to me. Dixon florist began charging me $5 to take a photo of their delivery and texting it to me maybe a year after I began using them. I was fine with that. Consistently, I call and place my order for a specific day, and they send me a photo. Today, I called inquiring about a photo I never received on day of delivery (yesterday). The person on the phone had to locate and then send me the photo. When I challenged having to pay for a photo I never received (even late), but had to follow up with them for, she just places me on hold with no explanation. After a few minutes, (I’m assuming) the manager picks up and her opening line is “Hi hon we’re not going to be able to refund your $5. We send pictures late all the time. We had a lot going on yesterday.” After I explained I’ve been using Dixon Florist for 5 years and have never had to call looking for a photo and I would think providing good customer service is more valuable to them than $5, the woman told me they had several funerals yesterday and were very busy. Not once did she even apologize for the inconvenience. Not once did she acknowledge why it was important I received the photo when I was told it would be. Even after I explained that the date was important because it was the actual anniversary of my dad’s death. Her tone was dismissive, & I felt like an annoyance. Her response suggested they felt my dad was less important “since he’s already buried”.
To be clear: I’m in no way going to haggle over $5- the way they made me FEEL disappoints me the most. I hope that woman reads this one day and understands in her moment of having a bad day at work”, she added to someone’s deep and very personal pain. I would never speak to someone the way she did to me- particularly over a $5 expense. I will never use Dixon...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Dixon Florist. We got married last week at Park Winters, and this was one of the very first vendors we booked—and for good reason.

Read moreCourtney and her team made my wedding so beautiful for a great price! I had super clear communication with Courtney leading up to the big day, and I felt confident my vision would be executed. But the arrangements were above and beyond what I expected! I wanted classic, romantic, soft, timeless white flowers with lots of greenery and a touch of pink. My coordinator said Courtney was the best for that look and she was right. Everything looked so perfect and I’m in awe looking at my photos. Other florists’ quotes were coming in way higher than I expected and I wasn’t sure if they understood my vision, but Dixon Florist fit perfectly in my budget. I am so happy I chose to get my bouquet preserved so I can enjoy Courtney’s work for...
