GoodWinds Water Sports Center & Surf Boutique — Local services in Dorado

I don’t recommend this business. We drove from San Juan to Dorado to visit this place to check them out personally and schedule wing sessions but were denied access to the resort by security because we didn’t have a reservation. So it seems to be an amenity only for resort guests. It was around 2pm and no one answered the phone when security guard called GoodWinds to ask if we could visit the business. Security guard then contacted resort operator who also denied us access to resort to visit GoodWinds without a reservation also! I was disappointed with the experience trying to visit this business inside the Dorado...

Went for efoil class with Spencer, I got 2 year experience on Fliteboards. They have Lift efoils, they were on time with all equipment checked. I taken total of 7 classes with other companies before. Let me tell where they are above the rest, they are on pwc next to you guiding you and giving you feedback to keep you safe. The helmet has a waterproof walkie talkie for communication during the experience. Any bad experience I had on an efoil was with shallow waters. Spencer kept me safe and away from reefs. I typically don't write reviews...almost never. But I'm compelled to tell the kite surfing world that the GoodWinds staff and experience is the absolute greatest. Best in class people, training, equipment and a tropical paradise setting. Nicole, Karla and Phil all make you feel at home and while consummate professionals, they give off the best vibe around. Cant' wait to get back to PR and kitesurf! Long way...
