Don't do it. Get ready for a long review as to why I giving them 1 star. When I moved to my first apartment here in Atlanta they were recommended to us. Black owned & Veteran owned, so being a child of Black parents that were in the Navy (one parent being a Doctor in the Navy for 20 years) it only made sense to support A Black owned & Veteran owned business. First move in 2022 went fine. Fast forward to my second move in 2024 just a few months ago, which is why they are getting a 1 star review. Before breaking this all down here were the numbers: 175 an hour for THREE (3) movers with a 3 hour minimum. In total my move cost around $800. 4 hours of service + the $100 tip to the movers who damaged my property & left an item on the back of their truck and had to turn around and drop it back off to me AFTER I let them know I was missing something. Red flags: 1.) The website stated that it was a $100 deposit, but when I reached out to schedule my move I was told it was a $200 deposit. Alright fine but in the future maybe update the website to reflect new rates & prices? I don't know that just seems like the most business forward thing to do. 2.) I was quoted around 700 - 1200 dollars to move a 1 bedroom apartment from one side of the city to the other. That fee included 3 movers at about 175 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. #2 is not inherently why I gave them 1 star because I'm not doing any manual labor. I don't mind paying a premium for a AMAZING service. 3.) I was charged 175 an hour for 3 movers but the 3rd guy was an hour and some change late. They told me this as soon as they arrived to my Apartment, and funny enough I was still charged as if he was present. 4 & 5.) Now keep in mind, Ive had had all my furniture in both apartments (old & new) delivered & put together by whoever or whatever store I bought it from. 4 & 5 are coupled together for good reason and you'll soon know why. When it was time to move my $900 couch & $600 chair out of my old apartment. they couldn't find a way to get it (the couch) downstairs through the elevator, they asked me how it was delivered when I bought it (in 2022 mind you) & I told them that they brought it up the elevator with no issue and all I knew was that the legs of the couch & chair were detachable. At some point, between them taking my $900 couch out of my apartment, down the staircase, onto the truck, & into my new apartment, they busted/ tore the seams on the bottom of the armrest of one side of the couch, with a small gash at the top of the armrest. Mind you, at the time of the move, the couch wasn't even 2 years old, $900, and barely used. The couch now also wobbles so who knows what kind of internal damage was done but apparently the damage to my property is only worth pennies to them (I'll get into that later). My $600 chair was also damaged, again Im not sure what happened from the time it left the front door of my old apartment to being placed in the living room of my new place but something punctured the side of my chair. 6.) I noticed the damaged to my furniture immediately. I told whoever was the head mover(?) while they were still moving things into my apartment bout the damage. He took pictures, & said that he would file the claim (he didn't) I followed up about a couple days to a week later calling the company about it and they had no record or idea of what I was talking about, ok whatever my have slipped his mind. Before I finish with #7, #8, & #9 , the head mover asked for a tip & regretfully I did tip them (Especially with the lack of care my furniture was given) $100 cause at that point I was annoyed and wanted them out of my place. 7.) Left a Mirror on the truck that they had to bring back once I noticed it was missing. At least it wasn't broken or damaged. 8.) Now that I am fully moved in ive realized that I am missing another item that I know was packed in a bin that was loaded on the Truck. 9.) Filed a claim with their insurance and what I just received is a slap in the face, especially for their...

I had the WORSE experience with this company. They had a double move for me and left the truck wide open while it was pouring down raining and the back of the truck door was bouncing up and down. 4 men and $1500 and nobody could remember to latch a door??? Then my U-Haul Ubox was never closed and sealed and it swung open at night when it rained all night and my furniture that was on the edge was completely soaked.

I also had mattress bags for all my mattresses and these foos took the PLASTIC WRAP and running circles around the mattresses, killing time to beef up their pay and stretch out the hours. Then everyone was tired and hungry. I've moved plenty of times and I usually offer a lunch break that I pay for halfway through the move. When I went upstairs to check the progress of these movers they weren't even done with a mattress and being down ONE DRESSER. They were just hanging out and then the 2 in the room were running around in circles around the mattress with the wrap. I literally did a walkthrough with everybody and showed them the pads and showed what was going in the Ubox.

I recently got my furniture out of storage and ALL, I MEAN ALL of my nails vanished for my bedframes. Corey has the intelligence of a cucumber. I asked that he put them in the sandwich bags and then tape them and he was like okay, okay and never did. He also was arguing with the other men to try to organize the truck and he did a terrible job leaving so much space on it in the middle that they didn't even take everything with them.

Then they were begging for a tip and I told them they have one once they can't and finished the job. They made a promise for the next day to come (which I knew wouldn't happen) and they never showed and never got a tip LMAO. INSTEAD one of the guys (I think that name starts with a D) asked me to BORROW $50 DOLLARS until he gets paid on Thursday. I literally reported him to the company and sent the screenshots over. Just raggedy and unprofessional. Very sloppy work and was a waste of time and money. I used College Hunks like I used to always use for my move back in and they were done in 4 hours, not 1222222222222 (twelve). I've moved so many times from big homes, small homes, etc. and have never hired 4 men and have never had the 2 men work for 12 hours or something crazy.

I have pictures of Corey with his body in the Ubox jumping in to push furniture inside because he did a terrible job placing it. I'll never use this...

I would not use this moving company at all. I recently moved and needless to say i did not like the customer service and when i reached out about my night stand that was cracked. He basically did not want to take accountability. I paid in all 800 bucks and tipped his workers. He made up a lot of excuses as to why it would have broke and did not even want to replace it . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE PLEASE IM WARNING YOU. When your things break they will make excuses. I told the movers to please handle with care because this is all glass and to carry it in. They had things on top of the glass night stand and did not do as pleaded. They are now stating that they’re not accountable for my broken item. I will be posting on instagram and all my social media platforms to warn everyone in Georgia and Atlanta to not use this company as a warning. They’re expensive and you do not get what you pay for. Please use someone else. They sent me a load up address of someone else personal property which was not mine and I felt that was unethical.i requested a picture of my load up and have yet to receive my pictures I PAID THE MOVERS FROM THE PREVIOUS MOVE INTO STORAGE TO UNCOVERed everything before they left and wrapped everything so they would not be the blame if anything were to break…they are again making excuses stating it was the other movers when it was not..I paid extra to see my items before i left the storage and nothing was broke on my previous movers behalf and they rewrapped everything ..so for Tate the great to again lie and put it on them is absurd and we previously just talked on the phone where he stated and I quote that he will not take responsibility and making excuses as to why he did not want to compensate for the item that is broken...

I thought I had done my due diligence by reading reviews and trying to support a black owned company but boy was I wrong. Booking with them was an ease the guy who booked was initially very professional and responsive. On move day they damaged an $800 concrete office desk from Crate & Barrel that they refuse to take accountability for. They have an unprofessional 20 year old working for them who doesn’t know what he is doing. He tried to put the desk together and after my husband told him to let him know when he’s ready to set the desk as the desk is extremely heavy and requires atleast 2 people to pick up. Well the mover tried to pick the desk up on his own and snapped it in half. The lead guy persuaded my husband to not pay for the additional insurance and told him to sign and check the other box. Not only did they break the desk but, they had the audacity to come back to our home and ask for gratuity. They then came to our home to pick the desk up to try and have it repaired, and caused even more damage to the desk. They called today and stated they are unable to repair it after causing even more damage and stated it would cost even more to repair as they do not want to pay for the damage they’ve done. This company and men refuses to take any accountability for their actions and do the right thing. I really wanted to like this black business. I would never book again or refer them to anyone.
