I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Michelle. I was very upset when I called because I was trying to track down which local florist may have been used for my online ProFlowers order placed the day before. I had received an email today that my flowers had been delivered, yet when I spoke to my daughter, she had never received them. My daughter and son-in-law both had a really tough week and I only wanted to brighten their day. She wished me luck but told me if I needed her to pop by their house, SHE would deliver them some flowers. I was so impressed with her gesture and willingness to help! I tried to reach ProFlowers but they had no one working and the voicemail encouraged me to use the online chat which was a BOT - completely useless. I sent a scathing email asking for a FULL refund. I then promptly called Michelle back and placed an order directly with her. It's people like her that extend a hand in tough times like these that restore my faith in humanity if even just a little. Read moreSweet Meadows is probably the best shop in town. My boyfriend uses them exclusively, and they are always friendly, deliver exactly when they promise to, and the flowers, so, so beautiful. We are not "special occasion" people, so we don't do Valentine's Day or anything like that so for us it's significantly more meaningful. If I'm going through something difficult, he sends me flowers. He sends them to cheer me up on anniversary of my mother's death. I think that makes it so much more important because flowers for us are not just "Hallmark" occasions. He is not local so he trusts that when he orders something from Sweet Meadows sight unseen, he knows it make me smile. In his exact words, "Sweet Meadows always delivers exactly what they promise".
My favorite color is purple, and though it's hard to tell from the lighting in my kitchen, these are the prettiest shade of purple roses I've ever seen. Whether you are local or calling to order an arrangement for someone who is, Michelle will not...
Read moreI was in the shop today looking for funeral arrangements for my mother, I was eventually greeted with a "hello" from a girl working behind the counter. I told her what I was interested in and she directed to a table and handed me a book....she left and offered no further help. At no point was I offered a "condolence for your loss".....or help of any kind. At that point I opted to leave and seek the services of a business who offered true customer service. Upon leaving the same girl said "goodbye" and again never asked if she could be of service. Customers shopping for funeral flowers are looking to buy...not shop around....If I had received any kind of customer service, I was there to buy....I instead took my business to a shop who was sympathetic, courteous and anxious to...
