CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Downers Grove

UPDATE: I was called back quickly and instructed by Ellie to come back and go to the consultation area for the missing pill. I went the next day and waited at the consultation area. Upon arriving there, a young long curly-haired gal with glasses asked if I needed help. I said I was there to pick up a pill. She said, very abruptly, you have to go to that line. I explained why I was at the consultation area (as instructed to do) and the pharmacist (standing nearby) heard my response, and explained to her what the issue was. She never said another word to me, but her demeanor said everything! She was NOT pleasant. After I thanked her, there was no reply! I'd give it less stars simply due to her behavior. I would have included her name, but her tag was not facing forward.

Be sure to COUNT your pills in your prescription. I did not receive the number that I was supposed to. I called the pharmacy, but they only allow you to leave a voice mail for someone to 'get back to you later'. This has happened more than once at this location. Extremely unprofessional. I called and got through just now at 1:29 pm. They picked up AND HUNG UP because lunch starts at 130, I guess. I didn't even know that until i called back, and it stated the pharmacy was closed for lunch, but that's NO excuse. I've worked in pharmacy for over 15 years, and that kind of behavior, regardless of what time it is, is completely unacceptable. Shame on...
