I have no choice but to share the truth. Although he was told repeatedly what in wanted and what I didn’t want apparently it didn’t matter. I showed him pictures, i over emphasized what i wanted over and over again and what i got for 600.00 is a blob of black ink. Absolutely no one has figured out what it is to this day, including three other artists. I’m now having it removed and the removal tech couldn’t figure it out what it was either. It is absolutely an unacceptable piece of work. I’m embarrassed to have it on my arm. Im constantly explaining what it’s supposed to be to people because they ask me. He was told all this thru the entire process and still continued to defy my vision. To recommend this guy would be the biggest disservice i could do to a person. He should be ashamed of what he did to me, but really he should be ashamed to call himself an artist. Don’t believe the portfolio, i did and i regret it deeply. Removal cost will be over 2k and that is just to fade it out to make it easier for a qualified artist to fix it. One star is one star too many. I know nothing about Mark Vincent, although most likely i would have had a better experience. No restitution, no apology, nothing. A good man, a responsible man would make things whole, particularly when your reputation is all you have. Chris Alexander did this work....

Got a tattoo here by Chris. Originally wanted to go to mark Vincent but was told my space would be too small for Mark to consider and that Chris would be good. Chris is a really nice guy. However, he was not confident in being able to blend my piece with the existing work around it. As a result, he gave me a tattoo on a very small area and didn’t attempt to blend it to my existing work, specifically because he didn’t feel confident in blending with the styles. In the future, if you are not confident, then just say no to the tattoo. Or, have the actual shop owner Mark, take a look at the space and design before suggesting a different artist. Decent pricing for the area. Quality of work is 4/10. Ended up getting laser removal and getting it covered. Would not recommend for any collector pieces. More of a local flash...

Came here to start my first tattoo. After meeting with resident artist Chris months ago, talking ideas, booking the appropriate amount of sessions he felt were needed, I was eager to begin and have my first tattoo started. After my first session with Chris, I knew I came to the right place. My first session was long in the sense of how many hours he spent working his magic. Although I didn't feel like I had spent all day there due to the wonderful atmosphere Chris, the owner, and their apprentice brought to the building. The design Chris came up with was greater than what I had imagined in my head. His attention to detail is insane as well. Very patient and thorough with his trade. I can't wait to finish my first tattoo with another 2 appointments scheduled. I have found my forever home for future...
