Love the Butchers Edge! They are part of Bittners (Eureka) Locker. They always have fresh, locally sourced meat as well as some basic grocery items (buns, potatoes, tomato, etc..). Meat ranging from steaks, to ground to chicken & bacon and more. The selection is always diverse.

If you have something you're after, I recommend stopping in early as this place stays busy and items in stock can vary. Great local...

A butcher shop and grocery in Downs, IL! An amazing selection of fresh and frozen meats, poultry and vegetables. Various condiments, milk, butter, cottage cheese, beef sticks, etc. Even beef marrow bones for the dogs. Tomahawk steaks was the latest prize I snagged last weekend.

New outlet for Bitner Meats from Eureka. Prices are a little higher than the chains grocery stores in Bloomington, but not unreasonably so.
