First off, I have only written a handful of reviews in my entire life and even this won't do the situation justice. During the evening of December 5th 2022, I went to the Draper DMV drive thru to pick up my registration stickers I renewed online that never got delivered to my house (Which is fine, things happen). I pulled up to the window where there was an older woman with glasses, smiled and explained I needed to pick up my stickers. I don't think I have EVER been spoken to so rudely in my entire life as a customer. It was so bad, I genuinely thought I was on candid camera and was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out saying I was on Punk'd. I was actually being greeting by being yelled commands, and when I was trying to get clarification it just got worse. Finally, at the end of the exchange, I asked for her name for the second time, and was met with a mumble that I couldn't make out. Before leaving I calmly told her that I was simply trying to get my registration and instead was met with some of the rudest, most off-putting service I had ever received. She then proceeded to tell me, "I'm sorry you feel that way."
I have read through the reviews and have seen at least four other complaints about her from customers dating back two years. If she is this rude to people she doesn't know, I could only imagine how she is to those she does know. It has to be seriously affecting the office culture (Which can already be stressful). Honestly, I suggesting finding anyone else to do this job, literally ANYONE else.
Please treat others with kindness and the way you'd want...
Read moreOverall, the Draper DMV is usually a great place, but I’ve had repeated issues while trying to help my dad get his driver’s license. We’ve had several appointments, and each time my dad has gone alone, he’s been assisted by an employee named DOYLE S. Unfortunately, Doyle has not been helpful and seems to have a problem assisting people who don’t speak English fluently, particularly Spanish speakers.
Today, I decided to go with my dad to help translate. Once again, we were helped by DOYLE S. I spoke to him politely in English, but he still seemed unwilling to help. He didn’t take the time to properly look at the utility bills my dad brought; he simply said they weren’t valid because they were printed.
This was confusing—how else are people supposed to bring their bills? Should we bake them into a cookie or email them to him directly? He told us we needed a letter from the utility provider, which I’ve never needed before. When I got my own license, printed bills were perfectly acceptable.
Doyle was unhelpful, dismissive, and gave the impression that he didn’t want to assist us at all. I’m giving one star specifically for his poor customer service—not for the DMV overall.
On a positive note, another employee named Jim stepped in to help us. He was respectful, took his time to look over the documents, and provided excellent service. If I could give Jim 10 stars, I would—he turned around what was otherwise a very frustrating experience.
To sum it up: Jim was outstanding. DOYLE S was rude, unprofessional, and came across as...
Read moreI hope the IDIOT of a woman working the Welcome Desk on the afternoon of 3 April 2024 for the Registration side gets fired!
Your comment as you sent me away was uncalled for and unprofessional. Your comments while standing there were unprofessional and uncaring. (Your husband and family must hate you if he hasn't left you yet.)
You are a loathsome being and I'm just sorry I won't get to see Karma bite you.
She told me it takes 75 minutes to be taken care of inside but 10 minutes outside???? Inside has 15 attendants and 15 people sitting down and Her moronic self would not give me a number. Outside had 1 attendant and 4 cars, that ratio is not to my favor at all.
But she did make a quip to someone else as I walked away (yes we all heard you as you proved your lack of intelligence; and for that I hope you get fired)
SO off I go with all my gear, to wait in a drive through on a motorcycle. Once to the front of my line I have to take all my gear off because my jacket has a built-in backpack with my letters to register my car. (I need my car registered so i can drive it to say... drive thru)
Why would you send a person on a motorcycle outside? OH btw, I'm 100% disabled VET. NO lie, i had my letter with me... oh wait, you didn't care. You only care that it's closing time. Time to go home, but to who? no one is there for you. OH they may be there physically, but not emotionally. because you suck the life right out of them.
2 star cause (1) those get read and (2) the gentleman working outside...
