The Mad Butcher — Local services in Dumas

I’ve always enjoyed shopping at this store when I am in Dumas. Their prices and wonderful customer service is always above board. Today, I have even more reason to appreciate the people who work here. After a very long morning, I stopped on my way home. When I later realized that I had ‘lost’ my wallet, I retraced my stops and this was my last stop before I got home. I called and identified myself, before I could say why I was calling, that sweet lady said, ‘Oh! You left your wallet at the register and we have it in our safe. There wasn’t a phone number to call, I’m sorry.’ Another 2 hour drive, but I was able to retrieve the wallet and I am so thankful!!! Great store, please support this...

Not sure what has changed in this store ,because I usually avoid it due to unfriendly and sometimes rude employees (especially in the deli) but today everyone was friendly and helpful . The young man in the deli was super nice. I even asked if he had any cajun Turkey (there wasn't one in the deli case) and instead of just saying no, he asked someone in the back, they said no but he continued to look and found some. The cashier and the gentleman who took my groceries out to my truck were also nice and helpful. I will be shopping here again. Also with the friendly environment I ended up spending more time and money than I had...

The little dumpy black cashier thought it unreasonable that I asked her to manage her line and request customers remain 6 feet apart in respect to Covid19. Tried calling the store to complain about her attitude but nobody answered. Oh and the death count was over 4000 people yesterday alone...but she thought it unreasonable...and btw I'm also an informed Black individual.. The Corporate Office of Food Giant will definitely know about her on the next...
