Buyer Beware!!! I have several pieces of advice about Unclaimed; 1)- Don't presume because they play Christian music in the store that the owner or sales people are being honest with you. 2.) -Ignore the reviews of new purchasers and look for the ones on how you're treated AFTER they have your money. 3.)- Save yourself grief later and buy elsewhere now! If you do buy from them, don't expect to talk with anyone in charge of its employees or the store policies when you have a problem, they are completely inaccessible. Once they have your money, unless you have a warranty issue, you can forget them because they've forgotten you, won't help you and don't care. It seems the attitude is, "I got mine, now up yours!" 4) DON'T buy the 3 year warranty they upsell, you'll waste your money because depending upon the brand, your furniture won't last long enough to use, and there's a lot of clauses to keep from having to honor it, which you find out when you receive the detailed warranty in the mail after it's too late for a refund You'll probably pay a cleaning company less if your child or pet soils your furniture and reputable ones back up their services with a solid guarantee.
I've been totally ripped off by Unclaimed!! I purchased a Homestretch loveseat and recliner in July 2022, which at the time was the brand they were pushing. In less than one year the padding in both pieces completely collapsed!! We are of average to lower than the average Americans body weight, so that is not the issue, it's the poor craftsmanship and materials. Homestretch honored the warranty, but the person Unclaimed Furniture sent to "repair" my furniture made it worse. He took out most of the padding and re-stuffed it with what looked like brown straw , provided by Homestretch, and he never replaced the padding! Within three months both pieces were worse than before they were "repaired" and Unclaimed apparently doesn't warrant their employees crappy work. When I contacted their customer service (don't expect a person to answer) she left a message for me stating that my warranty was expired and that was that. When I called trying to speak with someone with higher authority, I was informed that my only choice was to talk with the person who shut me down in the first place.
So now, I'm stuck with furniture I'm still paying for, that I can hardly bear sitting in until I can replace it. The less than 2 year old furniture is good for nothing but the landfill because it's unsellable. And shame on me if I donate it, that would be the same as robbing the poor to knowingly give trash just to get it off my hands. Or selling what I know is subpar to someone trusting, like...
Read moreI purchased LVP flooring from Unclaimed Furniture in July 2021. At the time of purchase I was assured by their team that the quality of the product as great and that they stand behind it 100%. I even paid for the professional installation from their team. Fast forward to 6 months later and the flooring was buckling and separating throughout the first floor of our house (we only installed on the first floor). I contacted their team immediately.
They came out and reviewed the flooring and at first attempted to blame me for how I was using my furniture in the house. I pushed back because it is insane to think you can't have chairs in a breakfast area or in an office with flooring in a house. The flooring company says it has a 10 year warranty if I'm not mistaken or even lifetime. Regardless, I finally convinced them to replace the damaged areas of the flooring.
When their installer came out to fix the issue he only fixed one area of the house. It took another 8 months (and a BBB complaint) to get them to come back out to fix the other areas of the house. This occurred in October of 2022. We are now 8 months from that repair and the issues are happening all over again. The floor is buckling, there is separation in the joints, and it is becoming uneven. I've now asked for a full replacement of the flooring or a full refund since this product is defective or the installation was done improperly (which they claimed was the problem when they finally agreed to fix it the second time).
To further add to the issue, both the installer and the sale person told me after the second repair that this flooring is no longer sold by them because of the countless issues they've had with it. Additionally, the installer told me they knew about these issues prior to me purchasing it and sold me the flooring anyway. I've gone ahead and filed another complaint with the BBB, notified the company of the issues, and I'm seeking a full refund now.
I would not use this company ever again and I've told every possible person I can to stay far away from them as it relates to flooring installation. I can't speak to the other part of the business but don't buy new flooring from them. Sad to see them not stand behind their products and to continue to ignore the fact they sold a...
Read moreATTENTION FUTURE SHOPPERS Hi, my name is Cam, and I want to share my experience with Unclaimed Furniture so others can avoid the same frustration.
Back in March 2025, I purchased a bedroom set from them and was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. That sounded reasonable—until everything started going wrong.
Missing Chest: When my order finally arrived, I was told that the chest hadn’t come in yet. They said they’d deliver it once it arrived. Well, it’s now July 2025, and they’re still telling me it’s “being shipped.” No update, no accountability. Damaged Dresser: When I unboxed the dresser, it had a huge crack in the wood (I’ve attached a photo below). I contacted them immediately to have it replaced or fixed. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame me for the damage. After going back and forth, they finally agreed to order a replacement—but only after unnecessary stress. Wrong Bed Rails: I ordered a bed with drawers at the footboard, but they gave me the wrong rails—the ones that come without drawers. I had to physically go back to the store to get them to order the correct parts.
I was told in late May that I’d receive a call when all the correct pieces were in. It’s now July, and I haven’t received a single update or phone call from them. I’ve had to chase them down every step of the way.
This has been a completely unprofessional and disappointing experience from start to finish. Based on how I’ve been treated, I would not recommend Unclaimed Furniture to anyone in...
