Their website is a little misleading to say the least. Looking at the website, it makes the place out to seem elegant and beautiful. Once you get there, itâs kind of a dump. I was under the impression when we spoke on the phone that Bill understood what I was looking for and he made it seem like he had many options. Once I got there , You have to go up a bunch of stairs, so itâs not handicap accessible. The carpet was dirty with debris everywhere They have old furniture thatâs very uncomfortable to sit in. They donât have a huge selection and the dresses that I was given to try on, were not what I had asked for. One of the dresses they gave me to try on, had a spider stuck in its tulle! To my regret, when I did finally decide to get a dress, the alterations were subpar. When I took my dress home and hung it up, I noticed the belt was not secured and the lace on the bodice was ripped. The tulle had so many rips and holes in it. I understand that these dresses come off from the runway and you purchase âas isâ, but I was also told that they would make the dress presentable as well as steam it, you know, like every other bridal shop offers. They specifically had told me that after the wedding donât take the dress anywhere but to them for cleaning. My dress was a hot mess. I was so fed up with not getting what I asked for with the alterations, I decided to take my dress to my own tailor where I was told by that the alterations that were done by Penny, were not professional work, in her opinion. For a fraction of what they charge you for alterations my tailor fixed what she could, with the time we had. My tailor is my hero and did a fantastic job. She validated everything that I had voiced to Penny but was not getting. If I could do it all over again, I wouldâve said no thank you and left without a dress. I wouldâve saved so much more money and heartache if I just went with my gut. I would not recommend this place to anyone...
Read moreSeptember 2022: I had the pleasure of going to Couture Bridal Outlet this past weekend. After visiting 4 other bridal stores before Couture Bridal Outlet, I was feeling defeated. That all changed when I visited Couture Bridal Outlet. Bill and Penny listened to my vision and must haves for my dress. They went to work helping me find "the one," they made me feel like one of a kind. Looking through hundreds of dresses we talked about how it could be altered to fit my vision and must haves. This was unique and made for a special experience and I cannot rave enough about it. I was so excited to find a couture dress within my budget, and even more excited that Bill and Penny helped make me and my guests feel welcomed. The second I saw myself in my dress, I had the moment when I knew it was it. Bill immediately found a variety of accenting accessories and Penny began pinning the dress in all the right places to turn that moment into a reality. I finally found my dream dress and I cannot thank then enough for making my dream a reality. I am so excited to continue the process with alterations this spring. Cannot recommend this shop enough.
June 2023 update: I am so happy that I found my dress here! Penny worked her magic on my dress to make it exactly how I envisioned it. Each fitting she was so kind, helpful, and fun to be around. She assured me each and every time that my dress would be beautiful and it was. I looked forward to each fitting with her and sharing fun stories about our dogs : ) Whenever I had questions or suggestions, Penny listened. She is wonderful. Now to my wedding day, my dress was gorgeous and everything I wanted. My veil matched perfectly, and I even had our wedding date embroidered on it. The bustle stayed...
Read moreOur experience with Couture Bridal started off so well, but sadly turned into a nightmare. As many have stated in reviews, dresses there are great, and we initially thought the lady helping us was nice. After looking at several places, we found the perfect dress, and I mean not only was it beautiful, it fit PERFECTLY, only 1 simple alteration needed to tighten spaghetti straps. On the day we went to pick up the dress, we were stunned to find that we could not take the dress home, the dress was in the process of being MAJORLY ALTERED without authorization, without measurements being taken, without any pinning having been done when the dress was on. Such a maddening situation! We made our displeasure clear, none of what was done was supposed to be done! A couple of weeks later, just 3 weeks before the wedding, we went back to get the dress, hoping all had been rectified, and instead more random alterations had been done! The once perfect dress, is no longer perfect and it no longer fits! And, even though we did not request these alterations and they ruined the dress, we still had to pay extra for them (and they said we ordered an extra veil piece we did not and forced it on us) In my mind we owned the dress when we paid for the dress and doing all these things to it without our permission is vandalism. We are now scrambling for (and will pay more for) another seamstress to fix the dress so at least it can be worn on the wedding day. So, perhaps come here to select a dress, but then pay for it, GRAB IT AND RUN! Do not leave it there for them to do whatever...
