I'll update this review after it finally gets installed, but I purchased an in stock dishwasher on 6/27. Today is 7/10 and its still not here. They said 3-5 business days for install for an in stock item. They were very happy to sell me the machine, getting it here not so much. I'll update after the installation whenever that happens. EDIT - 7/13/23: As promised I would update after install happened. After posting this review an installer called me to schedule installation. Ed and Adam from A to Z Home Improvements an independent Home Improvement contractor called, communicated well and showed up exactly when they said they would. They were very knowledgable, courteous and professional. They installed my dishwasher easily and quickly. I cannot say enough good things about them. I guess the negative review jogged some action.

If anyone had communicated with me over the 16 days from purchase to install other than Ed the installer yesterday I wouldn't have had to post the negative review. So your installers saved it. They were awesome.

To Dunmore Appliance: I would not have cared if you told me it would be over 2 weeks to install, but when I checked out at the store they said 3-5 days and then radio silence even after me calling the store twice to say hey whats happening. Communication is everything. Hiding behind that you dont do installations but do "recommended installers" is disingenuous. Either do, or do not. The store sells the appliances, either own it or say we dry sell these appliances and you are on your own to book an installer or provide the service and own it that its yours. I upgraded my review one star based on the stellar performance of the eventual installers. To future customers: If you buy an appliance here that needs installation ask straight away for Ed and Adam from A to Z Home Improvements to install it or just buy it and call them yourselves. After having a terrible issue with a “big box store” we decided to “shop local” and visited Dunmore Appliance. Actually. I called first to discuss a washer and dryer set that the big box store….lets just say it wasn’t a good experience and left us with no appliances. The woman I spoke with over the phone could not have been nicer and explained everything that we would need….a far cry from the big box. I actually purchased the set, sight unseen, over the phone with her.

Less than 2 weeks later our dishwasher broke. Our first and only stop was to Dunmore. We dealt with Nicole as well as Jason. We explained what we were looking for and she guided, NOT pushed us, in the right direction, settling on KitchenAid suite of products, dishwasher, gas convection range, and refrigerator. Our last piece is coming Monday and we can’t be more excited. I will say, there was a slight issue with our dishwasher, through no fault of Dunmore….after all, they don’t manufacture the pieces they sell. I contacted them and this time, both Katie and Nicole could not have been more helpful. When the manufacturer sent the service call to another company (Dunmore services KitchenAid), and that company’s time frame was 3 weeks out, Katie and Nicole took charge and got one of their technicians out the following week. THAT’S customer service!!!!

I will never shop elsewhere and would HIGHLY recommend Dunmore to anyone. From selection to follow-up, 5 star isn’t enough! In my book….and I can be a tough customer having worked in the service industry for nearly 30 years….they...

Time to add more positivity to my experience with Dunmore Appliance! ! A family member had an old refrigerator fail and was desperate to find one.Time was of the essence. I was on my way home from a trip and made a call. Thanks to Maureen and Andrea, they were able to match measurements from the old appliance, and by the time I got back, the refrigerator was ready and waiting. It fit beautifully in the space of the old one, and we were thrilled with their quick service and attention to detail. Maureen was wonderful. Andrea is very kind! Thank you again Dunmore Appliance for getting my family member out of a bind! A#1 service.
