I am so grateful I found Julio! He sincerely tunes in to the individual person and body needs, and works sincere magic by relieving serious knots and tensions at specific targets while also acknowledging and engaging the whole body. I have sought massage for post-migraine and related pain and have felt very truly better each time after visiting Julio. I also leave feeling much more aware of how my more obvious trigger areas connect to other parts of the body, thanks to Julio's attention and expertise. Time with Julio is a seriously effective element of a whole healthcare plan.

For those who might be wading through internet logistics: Julio's location immediately off Guess Road with very convenient parking makes the appointment easy to plan for (as someone who is often running from thing A to B!) The online booking, reminder, and Julio's generously expansive availability (late on W/TH) are also major logistical perks if you're daunted by long waits or can't fit within regular business hours. The massage space itself is immensely calm and comfortable (unsurprisingly, descriptors I would also use for Julio himself.)

I have been receiving prenatal massages from Julio since about four months into my pregnancy. His skill is incredible! He is gentle and thorough, but can apply more pressure if required. I leave each massage feeling renewed and refreshed. On one occasion, when I'd had a massage after getting food poisoning, he knew just where to rub to reduce the lingering discomfort from that experience.

My last massage was 3/23/21, and I went in feeling stiff, sore, and swollen. I was moving much more easily by the end, and the sciatic pain I'd been having, as well as the joint pain I had forgotten about due to other pain (oh, pregnancy), had been effectively addressed. He also gave me a great tip for my husband to use when rubbing my swollen legs and feet, which we both really appreciate! I intend to continue receiving massages from Julio after the baby arrives.

Julio is easy to schedule with and responsive, including reminders of massages (super helpful during pregnancy - I am always forgetting things, and so the text reminders make sure I get there). His COVID policies have been fantastic - I've always felt safe getting massages from him. He has multiple air purifiers and has drastically increased the time between patients.
