Nelson's Ace Hardware — Local services in Eagle River

Nelson's Ace hardware is one of the two local hardware stores I go to that's pretty close to home. They have almost everything I need for general home repairs and projects. Their products range from washers and gaskets to grills and paint and everything in between. Menards and the Home Depot definitely have more products, but that's just because both stores are bigger than Nelson's Ace. It reduces the need to travel all the way to Rhinelander to purchase hardware you need. The staff there are quite helpful and friendly as well. I'm not sure how their prices compare to other stores as I have not been there in a while, but I don't remember them being too pricey. I'm amazed! I go to Nelson's out of curiosity. Their revenues from my family exceed $2,000 per year, because they stock almost anything one can imagine. They even have an outstanding housewares section.

We've purchased everything from a lawn mower to a $700 chain saw, to a $1,200 coffee maker! Need a Lodge pan? They have it in stock. Plumbing, electrical, tools, power tools, fasteners... All you'd expect.

Dock accessories, garden, lawn, fertilizer, bug spray... Now you get the picture?

Nelson's ACE is our absolute favorite hardware store!! She can shop the Huge gift shop that's just loaded with cool items, as well as the large selection of housewares, while I can take my time shopping the large selection of hardware and tools! As with most every ACE, the staff is very helpful, and at this ACE, especially knowledgeable and just plain friendly! As it's the only hardware store in town, I'm glad they have such a comprehensive selection, because so far, they have never not had what I need! Great Job...
