Worst dining experience of my life. Was traveling through town and stopped here for dinner in hopes of having a good meal. I was very wrong. My waitress was very rude, almost dumped our drinks all over my girlfriend, and threw my salad onto the table in front of me. When I was done with my salad I threw my dressing cup away as it had ranch leaking all over the place and she went over to the table and questioned my girlfriend very aggressively about what was wrong with the dressing. Once our food came out an entire cat fish with the fins and skin was placed in front of me. I was expecting a normal fish fry with fillets like cod or walleye but I was unpleasantly surprised when I received the whole cat fish on the plate. After myself and my two kids had our food for about 2 minutes my girlfriends food finally came out to the table. Overcharged use for drinks and placed our order wrong. This is my first time writing a review but this was my first time eating here and the experience was so appalling that I wanted to share in hopes of warning others. It was overall an awful experience and I will not be returning...
Read moreAfter a day of hiking with my grandmother, we stopped in to grab some food before heading back to Rhinelander. It was mid afternoon, before dinner, and it was moderately busy with 3 servers on staff. While many tables were open, with previous guests food still on them, we were told to take a booth in the back. We sat down and patiently waited for our server to arrive... but she never came. The other 2 servers continued to attend to their guests, seeing us sitting there without drinks or menus, and said nothing. After 15 minutes of waiting, our stomachs grumbling, we got up and left. As we exited the building, there was our server, enjoying a break outside. She looked at us, said nothing, and let us continue to leave the establishment. I'm not sure if this is the kind of place that doesn't cater to people they don't know, or it was just a rough day, but it was an unfortunate experience...
Read moreThree of my buddies and I were just wandering around downtown Eagle River looking for a place to eat other than fast food. The wait for American Craftsman was 45 minutes so we went here instead. Big mistake. None of us were able to stomach more than five bites of anything. The first red flag was that the waiter couldn’t recommend anything he liked. The pasta meals looked and tasted like they came from a microwave meal you’d buy at Walmart. The burgers were dry and tasteless and the chicken wrap left you feeling more hollow the more you ate. On top of terrible food, our bill somehow came out to around $80. We had to hit up McDonalds on the way out just to have something edible. I never write reviews, but this was so bad I felt compelled to warn others. If it was possible to give negative stars I would. Stay away...
