East Bridgewater Cinemas — Local services in East Bridgewater

The prices of this movie theatre simply cannot be beat. 5+ years ago, before their renovation of the seats and theatre itself, I will attest that it was outdated and not the most pleasant experience. Being a kid though, the price was right on a lawn mowing paycheck and I went here all the time. While their prices have increased since the renovation, where else can you find a matinee showing for 6.50$ or a premiere showing for $9? For the A-List, once in a lifetime movies, maybe go to AMC. But for everything else, I would definitely go here! You can always get a seat (as long as there are not 10 in your group and you are going on opening night!). The prices for food there though, and the size, it what brings this theatre to a 4-star review. The prices are ridiculously high. Not any worse than every other movie...

I have been here twice so far. I’d like to start off by staying the prices were good, better then other theaters. However, each time I’ve been there all the bathroom stall doors were broken. I went today for a little escape, my home has not had power or heat for a couple days due to many trees falling on my street after high wind rain storm. The theater was extremely cold. COLDER then my home with no heat and colder then outside. I was shivering the entire movie and seemed to get worse towards the end. It was like they were pumping freezing temps into the theater, I am not exaggerating. By the time the movie was over it must have been 30 degrees. My family and I absolutely love this theater and go here with our kids every time there’s a movie that comes out that they ask to go watch. They re-released the Minecraft movie and since my daughter’s birthday is the next day I decided to bring her. My daughter is on the spectrum and has overstimulation problems with loud noises such as yelling. Mind you these theaters are usually always quiet and you can only hear the movie playing, but a group of boys decided to scream almost all throughout the movie. This in no case is the staffs fault, but I’d like to remind the parents of children who are gonna go to the movie theater unattended, to advise their children to be respectful and mindful of everyone else that is...
