Well, this is really incredibly difficult to talk about. It’s pretty embarrassing, but there is no other way for me to communicate this experience. The physical trauma I suffered post-meal is one far too painful to even put into words; so I will do my best. The physical restaurant was lovely. The service was excellent. Chips and salsa were pretty tasty. But here’s where things get tricky. I ate my meal, which was an enchilada, and something tasted off. I couldn’t quite pinpoint it, so I ignored it. We get the check, and I don’t think anything of it. Then, I am in the car and suddenly I feel extremely sick. I had to stop at the store to pick up some household stuff, and when I pulled into the parking lot I knew that I had to find a bathroom immediately. So here I am, in an Ocean State Job Lot bathroom, feeling so overheated and uncomfortable. I am profusely sweating, and I am experiencing some severe stomach pains. Thankfully no vomiting, but I am sure you can imagine the rest. This is absolutely no joke when I say that I really thought this was going to turn into an emergency room trip. I felt incredibly lightheaded, and felt almost as if I was melting. I would have to estimate that I lost a few pounds in that bathroom, which is in a way positive for me. Not the preferred method, but whatever works. Anyhow, I just want to let everyone know that if you have a sensitive stomach, don’t order anything too complicated. Stick to the light stuff. Hope everyone has...
Read moreVery disappointed tonight. My husband surprised me with the idea to go to Fiesta and sit outside on their deck. We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant in the past. We got there & some people were waiting in front of us. They said they were all set - had already put their name in so we proceeded to the host stand. He was on the phone. Ok probably taking a take out order. At least 5 minutes later (if not longer) he was still on the phone never once looking at us acknowledging we were there. He could have told the phone people to hold on a minute. I have been a hostess in a busy restaurant & would never have left potential customers standing there with no end in sight. The only time he even looked up at us was when we left - he was still on the phone. We went to the Hitching Post. Waitress was very busy but we were acknowledged & our dinner was delicious. Not sure if I’ll be back to Fiesta.
Update: We did go back to Fiesta and our experience was much better. As we arrived 2 staff members opened our doors for us. We were greeted promptly by a waitress (the host was on the phone) and she brought us to our outside table. We quickly received chips and salsa and ordered drinks from our lovely server Sharon. Everything was delicious. Glad we went back. We really like...
Read moreI am almost shocked at the level of nonchalant behavior when they clearly get an order wrong. I had ordered three items that are distinctly different than what was in my bag. When I called the person on the phone immediately knew I had The wrong order and said oh my husband took the wrong one. How could that be when he is not the one back there packing the bags? Also the receipt of what was supposed to be in the bag was taped onto it so a simple check would’ve saved me and them the headache. I drove 20 minutes from my house so that’s 40 minutes total out of my time to correct their mistake and when I get there I asked to speak to the manager. The managers name was Danny and yes he did listen to my concerns but did nothing to rectify the situation and said all he could do for me was give me food. I very clearly stated that I didn’t want free food because I know they have a business to run but I still didn’t feel comfortable leaving the situation with me being the one who had to fix it. Now in terms of the food, it typically is great. However after this last interaction I will never ever order from this place again. Anytime anyone asks me about it I will completely trash the place because the service this time was completely...
