Did you know? There’s a Boston Jewelers Building jeweler right here in town! I had a custom piece made by the gentlemen at Michael H-a local small family business spanning 4 generations and unsurpassed in service & craftsmanship. They also repaired a bracelet I’d purchased at one of the ‘chain’ stores (no pun intended, but a good one, right?) the bracelet was expensive but poorly made (note to self: if you want Lagos, just buy Lagos- expensive knockoffs are never worth it), & they seemed to take it as a personal affront that it was unsalvageable. I finally gave up, but not before they worked on it 4 different times (at no additional charge). Michael H.
